make armor items lower your speed

If armor is going to add weight it would need to offer greater protection than it does now.

And +1 agree, if someone has a very noticeable advantage over other players, such as not dieing from an M4 headshot (or an AK-S headshot... from across Egypt. Seriously, it's happened) they should at least have to endure the real life consequences, such as added weight. Extra mag of bullets? BFD, if you live long enough to need extra bullets, than you deserve to get them. (unless you use an M12 </3) Extra HP in mutation mode? It's not like you're planning on dieing anyways. Not dieing from most assault rifle headshots? Needing a stab and 2 additional slashes to kill someone in GM, and not even dieing from a stab to the head? Well that's actually pretty damn annoying.
