Will CrossFire Ever Support Full 5.1/7.1 Surround Sound

Like CS:S and Combat Arms they all support full surround sound to take FULL advantage of the gaming experience. I have purchased a Logitech G35 which is 7.1 surround sound and in a thread [MOD]dot states " Crossfire Is Done In Stereo, surround sound headsets just emulate". but my question is why hasn't surround been a priority instead of new maps or weapons why not better sound ambience and clarity? I think it'll be a AWESOME addition to the game especially for pinpointing ghosts. (Also considering sometimes pinpointing is poop cause of shovels and axes wackin you upside the head before you can hear them.

So what do you all think?

Also as a sidebar how do i make my forum letters a different color? and also post a picture and not just a link do i use the embedded html?

surround sound = bulkier program = low FPS = faster PC = majority of players having problems = NO!

  • This is what i don't get, i'm pretty sure your loosely complainly about shovels/axes on gm. BUT you wouldn't care if gr walked around with m4a1 silvers, des's, m4c's or any other zp gun. Why is a shovel or an axe different to them?
