Yeah, I must agree Norton sucks sooooooooooooo much, the reasons you stated are the sole reasons why I uninstalled it with about 11 months subscription left.

Yup. I'm sooooooooo glad that Laptop comes with Kaspersky, not Norton.

AVG + Malwarebytes ftw
I used Avira for a long time and realize it doesnt detect cookies

Cookies arent virusses, u can detect cookies with non anti-malware products as well e.g. ccleaner, mru blaster

Security products should focus on malicious software only instead of adding bloat

That wont protect you against the majority of in the wild malware, those products focusses on threats that av's either miss or are having a hard time dealing with. They are ment as an adittional layer only.

Eh, what do I know? I've had a computer since '99..

Downloaded many of torrents
Surfed mucho pr0n.

Never had a real time antivirus ever going.

I would just clean it up after i got infected..

Had to reformat once.
