Issues After the New Patch
I played the game a day or so with the patch and there were no problems. However, yesterday some problems did arise.
Yesterday, I was originally receiving the renderer error message. However, it stopped on its own. When I did manage to log onto CF the map fails to load completely most of the time. What I mean by this is that the map is not completely visible; like I can see through several walls, the floors don't exist, and etc... (it looks really glitchy) Another problem I've been encountering is that the map will load, but the players will not be visible or my gun/hands will not be visible. When everything does load correctly, the game tends to freeze 3 or 4 rounds in or it just completely crashes. I don't get any error messages with the crash nor the freeze.
Today, I tried opening up CF. I got to the loading screen before you type in your password, and the game suddenly crashed. It's done this several times, and I have not been able to get to get to the log in screen upon my many attempts. Again, no error messages.
In addition, when I did log on I noticed that there was an increase in my ping. My ping has gone from 78 to 114.
I'm wanting to know if this is related to the new patch or if this is something completely separate from the patch?
EDIT: I attempted to log back on again, got into the lobby, the game froze. I got an error message about xtrap and memory. However, I was unable to save any of it, because the computer was completely frozen.
I've also gotten a C++ MFC Runtime error "R6025"

^^Yeah...
Anyways, I have updated my Direct X and video card, because I thought the problem might be related to the renderer error. However, that hasn't made one bit of a difference. I can now log in, but the game continually crashes on me without any sort of error message. I would really appreciate it if an Admin, mod, or whatever could at least give me some feedback, tips, or just tell me they don't know what the **** is going on and I'm just out of luck. Anything would be helpful.
Do I need to uninstall and reinstall crossfire? A few days ago I did defrag my game with gamebooster, however I don't understand why that should be causing these problems.
