Your Client Is a Invalid Version.

I just downloaded the patch using uTorrent and it started up fast and normaly. But after i exited it right and surfed the web. 10mins later i wanted to go back on. i Clicked it and got this weird message saying:

Your Client Is a Invalid Version.
Re-install the latest game version.

I now cant get back on and it anoying me. Any idead from helpfull people?

I'm getting this on both my computers. I've reinstalled numerous times. No luck.
Ones XP Professional 32-bit, this one is Vista Home Premium 32-bit. They are both well above spec, and both run it on high detail.

This message appears when the servers are busy. This is due to all the players from around the world patching their client simultaneously.

You donot have to re-install, jus be patient and try after 30 mins- 1hr

I get this problem after every patch at it only occurs during the first 2days after the patch release.

you can fix it manualy by going into the version config file in ur crossfire folder and setting
latest version to 1046 then make the file read only that will get it started

just make sure to change it back later before next patch

Np im not exactly sure what the current version is as i have a bad memory and im currently reinstalling windows again if you still have problems after 1046
just change it to 1047 as that might be the current

yes i tried changing it manually too but it said access denied. sOJosh are you using windows 7? and last time with the file is changed w[2007] thing i just saved the version somewhere else and it worked but its not working with this one.
