Serious discussion. Jews.

Attention granted.

Anyway, Israel decided to stop a couple of ships going to Gaza for medial supplies and food to the Palestinians.
Friendly ships, with the sole intention of going and dropping it off.

Israeli army decided to board the ships, kill a few people (civilians) and I assume not bring the food to the Palestinians.

They're trying very hard to alienate themselves from the world by killing civilians attempting to bring food to a country destroyed by war.

Poorly written, I'm kind of mad. Discuss anyway.

  • The Israeli government doesn't care about people unless they're from Israel or Jewish.
  • I'm not much of a fan of Israel, but from what I understand, the incident took place inside the israelian sea borders. That means they have the right to open fire. Leave aside the historic fight between Turkey and Israel, no civilians should be killed by jews, and also, no foreign ships should tresspass the Israelian teritory without Israelian permission. Also, I saw in the news that some of the ships in the cargo weren't carrying only civilians, but even weapons. I know Israel tries to take over the world, and for that is using any means necessary, but if I were you, I would open this thread again when I will have more history knowledge.

If the international investigation will reveal that Israel opened fire against civilian ships for no reason, then Israel should be condemned internationally for that, with all due consequences, especially from Turkey and EU/NATO. Until this is prooven, your thread is stupid and useless.
  • The attack occurred 40 kilometers at sea from the Israeli land border - their water border stretches for 30 kilometers, meaning the ships were in international water at the time of the attack.

The content of the ship is undisclosed right now.
According to the Israelis, they carried lots of random stuff such as weapons.
According to the civilians on the ship they carried food and supplies.
Which the Israelis couldn't possibly tell until AFTER attacking the ship.
  • lol, heard they released a video about it in thermal vision to show that they killed them in self-defense :/

<posting video link here if I can find it!>

  • No political or religious discussion of any kind will be tolerated on the forums. These kinds of conversations almost always devolve into insult contests or flame wars.

Wait... I thought this wasn't allowed.

Its a criminal discussion, not a political nor religious.

Possibly relating to the political implications of Israeli actions but other then that I'm mainly focusing on the criminal act itself.

Thank you though, I'm well-aware of the rules.

Wrong. Tell me what peaceful country dares to engage the international waters near Gaza, which are right under Israeli waters.

The content of the ship can be seen using an infrared camera at any time. We have seen a helicopter image, that could be the source of "arms and not civilians". You have opened a thread which needs immediate international attention, and not a stupid thread on a forum. Being a good player in CrossFire does not give you the right to judge a worldwide situation/danger.

If you are right, the consequences are not for this forum, so your thread is stupid anyways

So you can't find it. Save this serious event for someone more able to handle it. I've seen tons of CF idiots who are confusing a game for a real "life threatening situation".
  • Israel does not listen to United nations or any other nation. Yes, they have taken things too far.. if this continues something bad will happen. And that thing.. I don't think i should be saying.

So you're saying that because it's a large, important issue we shouldn't talk about it? You think nobody should have an opinion because they might not be an expert on the subject? Man, I know most people are sheep, but you're something else. This is probably one of the only worthwhile threads in OT right now.

Nope, I'm saying we should all wait for an international decision, and not discuss about a MOD taking his own crap on the forum.

Like I said, you think nobody should have an opinion until the government decides what it should be. Dot posted an interesting article and gave an opinion. Seems you have a problem with free thinking.

I'm going to overstep Dot here and call this a topic that should be on irc / away from the boards. Again, no-one has done anything "wrong", but this is a highly highly sensitive topic at the moment (riots around the world) and frankly, this is the wrong board/community for this sort of topic, especially with the past few weeks of drama.

So yeah, I'm closing because of potential drama/immaturity.

Dot, if you needs more explanation, send me a <3 filled note later. Or re-open the topic after talking to me .

As for anyone else who wants to debate the need for the thread to be open, my PM box is open, and i will take arguments with an open ear
