Crossfire Sound effects dont work!

Hey guys,

Since I have Windows 7 Ultimate 32xbit (one month ago), i have no sound effects at all.
What I mean with sound effects are gun, walk, grenade, breathing sounds, but not Radio Messages, nor Menu sounds or Game music, they work.
Now my question is, why the effects dont work? I tried almost everything, changing stuff in Compability mode, installing new sound card updates, reinstalling (4 times) and the list goes on. Then I thought, they may fix this problem with the next update, but it hasnt changed at all since yesterday. It ****es me off
Are there other people, that are having this problem too on W7?

If you see, just with wav sounds occurs this problem.
Like me... with mp3 sounds works. (radio, messages...)

PLEASE HELP US!!!

I fixed it by restarting crossfire. If that does not work, I would suggest restarting your computer.

I would suggest getting a better sound card, actually.

Delete All the crossfire folders and reinstall. If that does not work you will need a new sound card.

this happends to me sometimes.. i check if i have sound every time i log on by going into training and if i have no sound i just restart.

Why would he need a new sound card if it works good?

It's just in CrossFire isn't it?

I heard that CrossFire has some compatibility problems with Windows 7.

I have the exact same problem, im on XP, and it was made about a year ago and i can hear everything, except the walking, gun shooting, and all the important sounds.
Re-installing works, but then it stopped working again after a few games. so i have to re-install again...

sound dosent work

im also windows xp and the sound dosent work i hv a lagg comp that cross fire is laaged on it its sound works better than me idk y?

Hello ermm ive been getting this sound buffering aswell an i had it before on a bad pc an now i got a realy good gameing computer an its brand new an a new sound card n good graphics an its sound buffers only on crossfire can you help?

Well then cant you mods fix this isnt that your job i aint being funny but its hard for me to play crossfire Ghost mode so plz fix this and mine is windows 7 an its a new pc an i still get sound lagg

on the crossfire folder. just double click the patcher_cf2 !!!! thats all... and the problem is solve

Try re-downloading crossfire with a different mirror or try to talk to Gm-Saidin.

in cross fire folder !! double click the patcher_cf2 then ur problem is solve
