People hacking your internet.

Well, i play crossfire alot and i never realised so much harm it is doing to my computer when i am having so much fun.First of all,viruses popped out of nowhere, my favorites bar was gone so i asked my dad if he could look at this. He scanned the system and found out that when i played this game, people were hacking into my internet and using it and they also dumped some of their viruses because of filesharing. Now i am not allowed to play this game but i want to very very much so if someone has a solution that could help stop people doing this it would be very much appreciated.

There is no way that people are "hacking into your internet" from the game. In fact, you can't even tell a player's IP address from the game. Each individual computer connects to the server, and the server relays all of the information between players.

If you have viruses on your system it is not the fault of this game.

Yeah I noticed this, since I started downloading and using my hacks. Bad times.

ok if no one is getting into my internet, then why did somebody actually get into there? Like i said my favorites bar was gone and i looked in the history and it had all these funny websites in their and i just woke up too. Could this be the cause of the viruus?

If this was a big issue then everyone would be on the forums complaining, but it really isn't. Maybe you are getting the virus some other way.
