K2 or Tar-21?
Hi guys,
Lately, I've been wondering which gun I should buy. I've been hesitating between the K2 and the Tar-21. I'm not a ZP buyer so I most likely can only afford one of these two guns for the next 1-2 months. (I use B.M. to gain GP, so it takes time)
I really like the K2 for it's relaxed firing rate which gives me a bigger ammo duration. However, this firing rate sometimes let me down on CQC. On the other hand, the Tar-21 has a faster firing rate, but has a weird spray pattern which doesn't allow me to spray 'n drag that well. The Tar-21 does somehow have something I like, the scope. Being an old Aug user, I find it quite useful to have that function.
So, does anybody here nice enough to help me out on my gun choice?
Thank you in advance.

Tough choice.
If you like to strafe when you fire and keep your distance, then the K2 is a better choice, cause the shots stay pretty straight while you strafe around, but In CQC you need to hit the head or you're done for.
I find the TAR is a great gun, but you cant really fire it while moving. Not a big problem for me though, just strafe a bit then crouch and fire a couple busts quickly, strafe again. Although in close quarters you can run and burst, cause the firing rate will make up for the bullets that won't stay quite straight for you.
I suppose though when you scope in the TAR becomes quite similar to the K2 cause the ROF drops significantly, and you seem to be able to move more while firing accurate shots, although you move slower.(like you would with the heavier K2)
Really you shouldn't spray either of these guns though, they're both made for headshots. But TAR performs better when bursting due to higher ROF.
Personally, I would take the TAR, but you're not likely to regret either of them. -
gun choice
I got the K2 with the anaconda adv.crates and I found it quite accurate when I strafe and shoot. I had the chance to try the Tar-21 just for one round, since I had the chance to pick it up, and this gun feels just as accurate.
There's still one thing I need help for, I tend to shift walk a lot and listen to footsteps around corners and such, and if I ever hear anything, I'll most likely wait until the enemy is close enough to prefire and surprise him. Which gun would fit this playing style more?
PS: If this could help, I play quite a lot of GM as well. -

Exactly.
I recommend the K2 but you really should try it out a few more times on Alaska to be sure.
