So yes, it COULD make them more money, but just because it CAN doesn't mean it WILL.
EXAMPLE,
A car company produces bad car and sells at 500,000$. With your logic, this would make the company more money.
But here's the thing, who would buy it?
I'd buy the gatling.
Plenty here would buy it. No ones forcing you to buy it, only those who want it would.
The guy who gets it in crates won't always have it. The guy who buys it will. I'm sure the person willing to spend 20,000 BP will know what they're doing. + We don't have much to spend BP on, so why not?
If $200 is too much, then what should it be? $150?
AK-Silver and M4-Silver are $69, and $89, yet no one really cares about the BP cost.
The logic in the car example is flawed. -

I got the gatling gun in a crate once. It looked cool but I don't think it was too special. It had 300 bullets (m60 adv), a so-so recoil that couldn't be tapped out because of the spool up time, very low ROF, and you couldn't really move, shooting it or not. Why is it so special? I don't think I got to shoot any mutants with it but unless it's 200+ damage a shot it isn't very amazing.

So if you already spend money on the game, who would still go for M60-Adv & RPK-Camo crates?
Arguably some won't spend $200 and still buy the crates, but it could cut the crate popularity.
not if they like to move while they fire lol the main difference between the gattling and the other machineguns is that you cant really move at all while firing the gattling gun. while the rpk and m60 you can run(not the fastest but still run)
the gattling gun does what its meant for. it turns you into a staionary sentry turret.. nothing more, nothing less.

Honestly, I don't think they should put it in the BM..
I already got many times the Gatling Gun in the supply crates. It's not that hard to get one!
But it's just sad that people don't spend ZP on this game are the dupes again.
When you get one, I'm sure that you get mutated either right away or 30 seconds later because mutants will be all over you after you have left the group of humans to gamble your life on the gatling gun.
That's the idea, to not get totally screwed after you get the gun.
Too bad for non-zp buyers, I guess. They can just get an M60 and they'll be half as good.
