This seems like a good idea but if u realy think about it there are some flaws to this
1) is that many people actual have a lot of bp than u think they just dont spend it or show it
2) is that imagine about 5 people with gat's at the beging of a round over in less than 30 secs
3) Eventualy there will be some who will find a way to hack it and bring it into other modes even though it is restricted to MM only
4) and last gat is almost overrated when u run with it ur actually walking and it is almost like an m60-adv or rpk-camo with extend clip and extra mag
But overall i think this is a good idea -

1)This is probably true, but it limits the amount of people from say 10,000 to 1,000.
2)I really doubt 5 people with gats will be in one room when the price of this gun is $150+.
3)No. Just no...Have you seen a rifle in a pistol only match? Or a sniper in a knife match? Nah.
4)I don't understand what you mean by overrated.

Make it purchasable for 15,000 BP - 20,000 BP.
Only let it be allowed in M.M.

Because z8games will get more more $$$ income if people go for the Gatling.
Because not as much people will have it because you need to spend $150+ for the gun.
And only allowing it in MM because of obvious reasons.

Also, still allow them to be obtainable via the yellow supply crates dropped in M.M.

Just an easier way to get the gun. I've been playing GM lately, and now, I almost always go for the crate, and usually end up getting mutated. I'd really much rather pay 20k BP and get a gatling gun to start off the match then running around the map hunting supply crates for it.

Ok so, some noob buys a gatling gun for 20k bp(200$), then some smart guy picks one up in a supply crate.
Must make the guy who wasted his money feel pretty shtty eh?
So yes, it COULD make them more money, but just because it CAN doesn't mean it WILL.
EXAMPLE,
A car company produces bad car and sells at 500,000$. With your logic, this would make the company more money.
But here's the thing, who would buy it? -
