Tips for me

Don't limit your posts to the remark about what they're doing wrong: it adds no value to the thread and could as well have been made by someone who did have something to say in the thread.
In other words....if you wouldn't post in the thread if it was in the right section, don't post if it isn't. -
Wait.. Explain that a little simpler please.Phillybear wrote: »Don't limit your posts to the remark about what they're doing wrong: it adds no value to the thread and could as well have been made by someone who did have something to say in the thread.

The little bit that I know of you, you've put yourself out there as, quite honestly, a complete jackass.
However, I don't know any tips to really work around that. In some people it is inherently in their nature to act thus. What I /can/ say is...First you have to get to know the community enough to become reasonably popular with its usual masses. THEN you can revert back to acting the part of a jackass, but everyone will understand the underlying humor really meant behind it.
Denxi usually gets top honor in this.
And, no, I wasn't trying to be insulting. -

A lot of your posts are limited to
-'Post in the right section pls'
-'Use the pm service'
-....
Basically, you're just being a parrot that repeats the rules in those threads.
My suggestion is that instead of being a parrot, you just reply on the thread as if nothing was wrong with it. Then you can still point out that he did something wrong. That way you make a contribution to the thread instead of parroting a rule, something that person doesn't need at that time.
So if you see that you're going to post a reply that is nothing more than a rule, press your back button or make a useful reply first. -
mhmm... well... I don't get it. So I will just move on...The little bit that I know of you, you've put yourself out there as, quite honestly, a complete jackass.

Ah ok thanks for the clarifying. I will do that more often.Phillybear wrote: »A lot of your posts are limited to

Bad part of this is that you'll actually end up being banned several times before people see it.
^^Ah ok thanks for the clarifying. I will do that more often.
Sometimes people are more irritated by your replies than by the error you tried pointing out
Anyway, loosen up, it's a forum, people are bound to make mistakes and those that stay will learn. Those that don't usually just ignore what you say.
I don't mind that you point out that they do something wrong, it's just better to do it in the above manner

Well, okay, he shouldn't go to the LEVEL that some of those other people go to! But I don't think he goes to that level, anyway, so he's safe. -

I got a advice.
<*^_^*>
Why not just being nice to others?
If they post something you don't like, tell them that.
But tell it in positive way.
Way which doesn't 'blame' them or something.
^^'
I don't know how to explain.
But hey KillGod..
Hug for ya! *Hug*
