ALOD: Saving OT: Step 1
First of all, our apologies for the fuzz around the name. (which isn't even all that important...) Seeing some ppl already changed their sig to ALOD (with 'A' simply standing for a), we will go by that name. (since the previous one raised some tension and kinda proved my point, although that wasn't the plan)
So now that is out of the way, time for action. You all had a few days to read my post and think about it. If you are still interested in cleaning this place, here's what we'll do:
Step1: Reduce your own trolling. I know that most of us, if not all, have been trolling here. Yes, so did I. If we want the trolling to lessen, we'll have to stop doing it ourselves.
I know you can't just stop doing it from one day to the next (you're free to prove me wrong ofc), so just gradually decrease your own trolling posts.
Joining ALOD is easy, just mention it in your siggy. That's not really necessary, but it gives us a good idea about how many ppl want to help + it might just make ppl curious about what ALOD is and search/ask for it.
Following the forum rules is ofcourse a given, I shouldn't even have to mention that. (that includes the stickies of OT...)

From what I've heard Churche had to leave CLOD out just cause of the drama that was going on.
Also heard that LadyShy should have ask for permission from the CM to start it (as a leader) so that's why I asked.

As you can see there are no Mod's running this. Just members of the community.No no ..

Secondly, it's probably best to run without a leader for a few reasons....
1) We would need to change the name again instead of focusing on getting the trolling down
2) There will always be someone that will make a problem out of the leader. It would be a shame if this failed because some people couldn't set their feelings towards one person aside
3) After all it is the combined effort of OT that matters, not just one person.

Ah-hah! Except that LadyShy wasn't hardly the leader of it.
And if it had to have a name, PLOD would make more sense. Since it's Philly bringing the Legion back around. And because he makes the cookies. And because Plod is a fun word to say. Like Clod was. But Alod isn't a word and is fun to say.

Some people did care about the name.
As long as this Legion doesn't spam the OT forums like CLOD used to, I'm in.
If they behave like I asked in this thread, it shouldn't happen. (after all, excessive spam is still against the rules)
Of course the keyword is 'if'.....
