:rolleyes:If you have no experience in spraying, you are going to want to buy the m4a1 as your beginning weapon. Although there are many types of m4's, i perfer the normal one. Do not buy the custom for it is banned from some highly competitive leagues (not that this game is anywhere near highly competitive.) Learning to burst with this weapon is crucial. If you do buy the m4a1, i would recommend buying the p228. Some players go with the desert eagle, but with a spray gun, it is a waste of money to buy a deagle.

:mad: If you are a more experienced player, say you came from cs:s. You may want to farm your account to staff Sargent and try out the ak-47. There are various forms of the ak. Most of them cost real money, but if you do end up spending money, do not buy the: ak knife, or the ak scope. They will disappoint you, especially if your looking to get serious. For a side-arm, i would also recommend the p228. It is half the price of the deagle, and with a gun like the ak, your side-arm does not need to do a lot of damage. If you are buying the ak, i suggest you know how to use it.

There are also other sprayers in the game for people who like to try things new. Shotguns are for ghost mode, and are not sidearms. I however do not play ghost mode and do not care about shotguns. If you do buy a shotgun, it is a MUST to get a desert eagle as a sidearm. Remember, have fun and experiment with different guns. But here are some you should not waste your time on trying to get.
Scar light: Considered the most overpowered gun in the game
m12: Your going to be called a noob so many times
Scar Heavy: Decent gun, you CAN try it, but reload kills.
Winchester/Thompson: These are crate guns, but only get them if your playing for fun. Trying to play with these guns competitively is wierd.
m4 Custom: Bad m4. Banned from some competitive leagues.
m60: Some people might use it. I tend not to. This gun has 100 bullets, but takes more skill to use than an ak.
(there are more that you shouldnt use, but i don't feeling like covering them all.)

Snipers

Your default sniper will be the m700. It is a 2 shot kill unless you hit the head. In my opinion, a very, very , very good m700 player will be able to outsnipe any player with any sniper. However, there are many snipers out there, and i want to help you buy the right one. Before you buy a sniper, the most important thing you must know is that you should probably save up for the desert eagle as a sidearm. Do not fall for the anaconda for it has less ammo and shoots at a slower firing rate. also, i perfer not buying the p228 for a sniper, because it does 1/3 the damage of a desert eagle. I recommend farming to get to the required rank for the desert eagle. Once you reach that rank, you will also be able to purchase the awm. The awm is by far the most used and up to date the best sniper rifle in the game. It has a 5/30 ammo duration and is a 1 shot kill, 400 damage to the head, 100 to the body, 80 to the legs. If your looking to be a sniper, the awm is the gun for you.

SNIPERS NOT TO BUY:

:eek:Dragunov- This sniper is actually decent, but its lack to do a 1 shot kill, defeats its awesomely awesomeness. So dont buy it. Usually this gun will **** you off by doing 99 damage to your enemy. It has a decent ammo duration, and a superb firing/reload rate, better than you will find in any other sniper,

The psg-1 is probably one of the gayest snipers. If you play Soldier Front, dont get any ideas that the psg in this game is anything near the psg in SF. The psg sucks. With a 5/30 ammo duration this guy has a semiautomatic shot action, and with its recoil, only 1-2 shots is accurate before it starts going crazy. This gun rarely is a 1-hit kill, making it so hard to use. Because it is semi-automatic, the 5 ammo duration makes the gun very bad. They did try to compensate for that by releasing a psg-1 red dragon, which holds 10 ammo instead of 5. But the psg-1's other failure properties make even the dragon psg a bad investment.

msg (the crate sniper): Has the fricken wierdest scope out of any sniper. I actually dont own it, but from what i see, it is a rip off of the psg. The msg, if i am correct, will do a 2-shot kill, which you do not want for snipers. In my opinion, z8games should have never tried to come out with this gun in the first place.

The final sniper is the Dsr-1 (SOmething like that): Do not get tricked into buying this piece of crap. With a heavy pricetag of 68k gp, this sniper is not worth the money. If it was cheaper, this sniper may be a substitute for the awm. It has a faster reload time and shorter time between shots than the awm, as well as it is a 1-shot kill. However, if your a regular awm user, and want to switch the the dsr-1, you will probably hate it. It only has 1 scope that is magnified like hell, making it hard to Scope your enemies. It also stays in-scope after you shoot each bullet, which may help/screw up snipers, depending on their style.

Overall, buy the awm and the desert eagle and your set to go.
