nope, you can't do anything to force it off. you'd have to somehow registry edit CF accel, not basic windows accel.

Wow, So when I turned mouse accel off in windows 6 months ago it didn't effect anything in Crossfire? Guess it was all in my head

It still effects it. However there will always be a small amount, by turning it off in windows you just lower it ingame.
