Hey, I've got a problem.
When im trying to run CrossFire Xtrap works correctly but when HGW is at 87 % it gives me an error "File is changed : W [2007] L[0] rez/RF017.rez
Im using Avast antivirus and i have windows xp.
Pls solve my problem.

Your best bet would be to uninstall and re-install the game.

Did you do a clean re-install?

To do this follow these steps:

- Control Panel -> Z8Games -> CrossFire -> Uninstall CrossFire
- Open Up My Computer
- Delete the CF directory (Program Files/Z8Games/CrossFire/)
- Delete the CF directory (<user>/Document/CrossFire/)
- Run CCleaner
- Restart Computer
- Disable your anti virus
- Download the newest client from our downloads site
- Install the game from the new download
- Add the entire crossfire folder to your antivirus exceptions
- Re-enable realtime protection

I have reinstalled my windows so, i guess that i did clean re-install

Yeah I had That Problem too, heres the fix!

- Temporarily disable realtime scanning on your antivirus software
- Re-download the game
- Re-install the game
- Add the entire Cross Fire folder to your antivirus's exception list
-Then start your Anti-Virus again

Fixed the error for me! Hope it helps u!
