Its a 1 hit kill most of the time, and its faster than awm..... It just replaced awm in my eyes.

AWM has x1 and x2 scope but slower ROF and you can't stay zoomed after a shot
DSR-1 has only x2 scope but has a higher ROF and you can stay zoomed

They have the same damage, weight, amo count, recoil, accuracy.

Quick Scoping requires a different set of timing to learn. Most shots are 1 shot (body ect), but AWM is more powerful overall. The automatic part is slow, but ends up being useful.

AWM is still better, DSR-1 works at too slow of a pace to be better then a AWM.

AWM or AWP are claimed to be 1MOA accuracy.
Some other reached 0.5MOA accuracy (as real sniper rifle).
DSR-1 is one of them.

You should realize that popularity of a sniper rifle depends not only the accuracy and power, the cost, maintainability, weight are other factors when two rifle reaches the required level. US military sniper accuracy requirement is 1MOA, while FBI needs 0.5MOA.

Bullpup makes the gun shorter in total length and might easier to move, but the apparent bad thing is the bullet is trigger near soldier's head and ear. High pressure gas might blow into soldier's eyes, ears and face. And imagine what happens when the barrel explodes? It is more likely to blow off shooter's head.
Another disadvantage, the bolt might need other adjust to make to comfortable to pull. And because the trigger is a little far away, the long pole used to connect can make triggering not that sharp.
