About the Dragunov...
Recently I've seen a lot of people butchering the name of the Dragunov, calling it things like the "Dragon-av" or "DragunAUV". Dragunov is one word, the official name for it is the Dragunov SVD, SVD being literally translated from the Russian "Снайперская винтовка Драгунова", spelled with our alphabet "Snayperskaya Vintovka Dragunova", and it means 'Dragunov's Sniper Rifle". Evgeny Dragunov designed this gun from 1958-1963, and the SVD (and it's future variants) have been produced from 1963 to present day. This gas operated sniper rifle originated in the Soviet Union but has become the standard squad support weapon of several other countries. It has a magazine of 10 rounds and fires the 7.62x54mmR cartridge with a muzzle velocity of 2,700 FPS. (The same speed as the .50 caliber BMG used in the Barrett) It's effective range is around 800m, with it's maximum range at about 1300m. The SVD has been used in several wars including the Vietnam and Iraq wars, as well as the Soviet war in Afghanistan. I hope everyone learned something today about this historic gun, thanks for reading.

It takes a long time for the aim to settle after moving.
And it loses accuracy over 50 yards.
-.-
Seriously, I'm more worried about it's accuracy and power being butchered than it's name. -

I'm talking about the actual gun and it's history, not it's in game stats.
