Before hating farmers just think... What have they done to you? They've probably got a higher rank. But, you should be hating the Hackers and Glitches before these guys.

Farming doesn't earn your clan the #1 spot.

Any active player can get 10 clan points a day.

They just keep their roster fluent to keep the active players active and the riders out.
Of course, they farm. Point is, it doesn't matter.
