DO cooling pads help?

My comp heats up like a black shirt in sun so does a cooling pad keep my fps at the same? im using a lenovo tablet 11 inch(or somewhere close). Can someone tell me if a cooling pad will keep my computer at a low temperature and keep my fps as it is when i begin

A cooling pad can work wonders if your laptop is heating up. Depending on the age of the laptop its also possible that your air exhaust ports are getting blocked with dust. I got a used laptop from a friend, and when I opened it up there was a 1/4 inch layer of dust blocking the vents. Also, if you are using the laptop on anything but a smooth flat surface you could be blocking the air intakes as well.

The thing is if you have a laptop, in order to get great continuous fps you need a laptop for games not media.I bet you dont get more then 60fps on that laptop do you?And I rate that high for a laptop.If your going to use a laptop for gaming get one that is built for it like an Alienware or another type of GAMING comp.
Thats my opinion.

Alienware is overpriced for dumb kiddies.

I'ma answer this thread in a simple manner:

Is heat bad for computers? Yes.

Does putting something cool on something hot lower the tempature of the hot thing? Yes.

i get 60 fps on a good day with gamebooster, if i got a new comp itd be the asus g73 and thanks bruce ur a lifesaver

Also try this,and air duster this can also make good difference.
