this is a very simple question...

is a low ping or a high ping good?

Generally a low ping (0-100) is good but sometimes a higher ping (100-200) can make you more difficult to hit. Anything over 200 is just bad and really has no upside.

Ping = time it takes for your actions to be registered in the server. If you have 50 ping, it takes 50 milliseconds for your shot to be counted for. That's why if you have 200 ping, it takes longer to kill someone because your hits don't get taken into account until 0.2 seconds (200 milliseconds) after you fired.

Pretty good. Mine is usually around 35-45
