Weird ping?

Ok so i reformatted my computer installed crossfire, it was all good, everything normal. Then i reinstalled it because i was trying to fix my fps, and my ping is very weird, it used to be stable at 60-70, now it goes from 70-2000, its all over the place, its usually when there is 3 or 4 players around me. Its really unplayable, help please, im running windows 7 and i did the priority thing..

Nope wired, never changed anything from when i was getting 60 ping

Same exactly for me!!!!!!

If you go on at like 6am it is a lot better though.

They just have really bad servers. Not to mention people trying to ddos them all the time.

Is not the servers fault. You guys should go to the Crossfire Ping Commom and see if there is something wrong. If there is something bad with the servers why other people's ping are good? I had that problem and everything I did was to check the Ping commom. What I did was to upgrade my PC and re-install CF.

This is true on many levels and this same thing is happening to me. It makes the game COMPLETELY unplayable. This never used to happen with Suba and my ping is stable on other servers so I have to assume Z8 is the culprit.

Please, for the love of God, do something about this.

This only works on windows 7

* Open regedit
* Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Multimedia\SystemProfile
* There will be an entry for network performance throttling, default value is 10; set it to FFFFFFFF hex (willl look like 0xFFFFFFFF to the right of the entry)
* Reboot

I think taht the problem isnt at theyr server. The problem is maybe at X-Trap or other parts of the game. Please check this idear.
