Cus someone started the hating on scar light, and everyone jumped on the bandwagon..
******s, get your own opinion. I have no problems taking down a spraying downs child with a SL with my AK/AWM/any other weapon which isnt considered to be a "noob cannon" -
It's because the SL has very high damage as well as very low recoil. It's the only gun in the game where you can spray 3-4 bullets without even moving the crosshair and kill someone with bodyshots. Almost all other guns require you to get headshots for consistent good K/D's, but Scar Lights allow people to get 2KDs by only spraying people down with body shots. Every time someone kills me with one quick burst from a SL from 20 yards away I die a little inside...

i have a "good" k/d with my m4. and awm(noob cannon) and deagle combo.
im no sl wh.ore -
im a noob. why is scar light hated and m4 isnt? - they both have pretty straight shots. decent power.
personally i love the m4. its all i use..besides my "noob cannon" awm and d eagle.
cos SL has really fast reload, is light, tighter spread, less recoil, more damage, faster draw time, slightly lower rof which acc helps wit dmg reg
oh an it makes sucha w*nk sound~ almost as bad as kriss an m12s :P -
My friend & I love to hate on the m4. I use an ak silver or xm1014 & my friend isn't even a sargeant yet, so he's saving up for a tar-21. I cant wait for the xm1014 adv, & im interested enough to wonder what the new rank nrestrictions for guns will be. hopefully not too high.

D GOD is dead right. Exactly all these reasons and are pretty much top in each class.
M4 isnt a noob gun -.- Spray pattern isnt great and lower power are the main differences but m4's lower in everything else by a bit except for ROF.
