Downloading CrossFire

do the following.
Go to run or go to your search box and type in msconfig and then go to tools and then launch turn off UAC and do that. It says you need restart just ignore that. Then go to your download and open it up. Should work. And you can either turn that back on ( better security) or just leave it off (same as XP) -

Oh and my computer got f-ed up a couple days ago,thats when i couldn't start CF anymore and i tried to re-install
It's trying to scan for viruses, but it freezes when trying to do so.
Try downloading via torrent or Internet Explorer if you must use a HTTP mirror for the file.
