The hackkers came back...
Hello. I'm first leuitenant 5th class and I do play crossfire allready since 1 jan 2009. I've got alot of experience with this game and the big problem were the hackkers in espacially ghost mode. They see all ghosts moving behind walls and so they can kill all ghosts easily. The hackkers have fun doing that and they use low-ranked accounts.
The problems are:
-You can make a new crossfire account too easy. And when that noobaccount got banned from the hackker, he just makes another account and so he keeps hackking.
-X-trap can't fix the hack. It needs WAY TOO MUCH TIME to fix it. And I think it'll work as GameGuard, namely that a few days after the patch the hackks come back and crossfire needs new patches again again and again and so on. I think we need a new hack-protector.
-*This is something I've heard and I'm not sure of, but there is something logical in it*: a high-ranked player who buys ZP has a shield of protection to get banned. I've heard they can't get banned too easy so if they hack they don't get banned. Is this true?
-Reporting a player is TOO HARD. To report a player you have to find your replay in your crossfire folder and putting it on a site and then you also have to place screenshots. All this work is TOO HARD. And you'll never see the player again.
-AND you'll never know if the player got banned or not because you won't get a message if it really was a hackker or just a mistake of you.
So how to stop hackkers:
-X-fire has to put more work in the safety of the game so the hackkers won't come back too fast like it always was with GameGuard.
-*this is not sure*: paying for ZP or high rank won't stop ban from reports.
-Make the report-system much easier so you'll get more reports and when a report has been sended, it should be answered in a few minutes so that the hackker won't be able to play a long time with the noobaccount. The player who reported has to get a message if the report was true or false so he knows about it.
So? What do you think of this?

i...
i agree wholeheartedly. they need to make the way we report possible hackers much easier. its too complicated now, and this is just a guess by how the kids talk in game, but i dont think many players are 13 years of age, and will make it just that much harder for them.
and as for banning hack'ers? with enough proof, z8 needs to set up a way to get the last ip that the acc was played on and I.P ban it. if they hack'ed once, what says they wont hack again? -
I agree
hacking is coming back to crossfire, that is a fact, most hacks that i see are wall and aim hacks, they are easy to recognize, but if i remember correctly, when game guard was there was a lot of more hacking then now with x-trap, even if it is a bit frustrating not being able to change my music while in game. As far as the reporting system is concerned then i do agree that you should make it a lot easier, but the first thing that you should do is higher more people to look through these reports and make some sort of system that replies to these reports so players feel that reporting hackers has sense -
The hacks have always been here, they never dissapeared, they never will.
So suck it up and keep playing.needforumID wrote: »Hello. I'm first leuitenant 5th class and I do play crossfire allready since 1 jan 2009. Your rank is irrelevant to the topic.needforumID wrote: »So how to stop hackkers:

What?? You even want Xtrap to patch faster? If I recall correctly Xtrap patches at least once per month.needforumID wrote: »So? What do you think of this?
Nothing, you didn't contribute anything new at all. You are not the first guy with these "brilliant" ideas. -
"The hackkers came back... "
who the hell said i went away?Beaverl0rd wrote: »i never went away...that hurts my feelings that u didnt know i was still here
lol HACKERS F11,F11,F11,F11,F11,F11,F11,F11,F11,F11,F11!
lol agree with what the thread is bout -
Another problem is that skilled players get kicked alot easier again. So when I join a room and I play with a nice score, they start to think that I'm a hackker because hackking is possible again. When nobody hackks, I won't get kicked too easy ingame for hackking.
So not only seeing hackkers is annoying, but also without hackkers with the idea that hackkers are in crossfire again, I get kicked much easier and a lot other skilled players............................................... -
X-Trap had done its job.
It is way better than gameguard, although I am still quite disappointed to its patch speed.
BUT the z8games mods are not doing enough.
For example, NM+FFA doesn't have vote kick system, replay system totally fail etc and the account policy is bad.
Out of all the things, the most silly thing I can think of is taking the ban list off.
I mean...How the hell we know did we report the right player or not now? The mods don't even reply us a message about our report. How can the players believe their reports will be noticed?
Crossfire is a great game without all those heavy weapons, but the differences lie between "pro" and "noob" are too great. A ban list is a must to give reporters confidence and a better account policy is needed to decrease hack.er.
I had made posts about banning IP and etc. some said it isn't good enough and you need to "Sub-Net" ban them, but I believe banning IP will get some of the glitchers out right away.
The other thing is, you got to start hating people kicking with stupid reasons.
For example, players from BR tends to kick all non-BR players, and it just can't be help.
I think that z8games should change their policy furthermore, not sticking around with the old rules and wish to make a profit. -

Hey lets put BR and TR [For turks in the uk server] in our names and join BR and turk clans and we wont be called a hacker and wont be kicked
If you kno how to speak portuguese, go ahead. I wont join BR clans ven if I'm BR, though . It'd ruin my reputation on forums and make me feel a n00b :< -
