I Cant Play Crossfire

I have this error of x-trap from this afternoon:

I will explain your problem;

Your internet was not able to contact the anti-cheat or patch update server possibly due to unavailability to the Z8Games server. It may not be your problem, my web-server was out to Netherlands, Belgium and Germany for 4 days and it was no ones problem except for the Data-center.

I suggest Z8Games contacts the data center to run a series of test to check availability to all regions of the country/world.


In other words, it's most likely not your fault.. (After you've reset your modem and it still doesn't work then it's Z8Games problem or their datacenter provider)

Could you give me a screenshot of this error?

Press CTRL + ALT + DEL

Go to the 'Processes' tab and press 'P'

When 'patcher_cf.exe" is highlighted in blue then press the button at the bottom of the dialog named 'End process'

Try to start your game again from there.

Also, if your game says the data server is not stable perhaps you've waited too long to login?

Manual Patch Possibly?

Ok so after about 20 minutes of reading these post's and having the same problem as everyone else I decided to post a helpful suggestion to hopefully vent a little. Why don't they just make manual patching available? If they do that then players who cannot patch can simply manually do it.. gafaw...
