Your first assumption: google.uk is really in UK, AND crossfire UK servers are really in UK though, they named them UK doesn't mean they are in UK
Your second assumption: if they are in UK, your ping will be very low, why? they may put the servers in a low budget low bandwidth room. -

They are in the UK, but some genius decided to put them in London, pretty much the very bottom of the UK. Birmingham, the Midlands, would have made far more sense. -

Well, I played like 8 months with 130+ ping (on USA servers) when the UK servers wasnt on and I didnt die for that, so get used to it.
For me 100 ping is awesome...

The strange is i get 200+ on USA servers and 200+ on UK servers...

Play with 130-160 ping is fine; now I have 40 ping on UK servers players with 70+ ping just annoying me lol its frustrating try to kill them and you need like 3hs to do it.
