choose own starting weapon

we should be able to choose our own starting weaponfor free, with the m16 barrel settle time as every other gun and less recoil, but theres are weapons that cannot be chosen

- any zp or bm gun
- awm
- scar light
- shotguns
- machineguns

Nope...another horrible idea. Noobs will choose Kriss, Tommy, m12s and they'll ruin everything. Play hard for them. Earn what needs to earned.

perhaps i should re-word this:

- any zp or bm gun

- tar-21

They still have other pretty powerful weapons. Ak, UZI OWNS, K1A etc.

This idea wont happen...believe me.

well im tired of starting out with the crappier m16 every time. why dont they just not have any starter weapon and make the m16 a great gun like it was in cf china?

The M16 is lethal...i use it more than my M4-C. Just need to learn to use it at its max. Makes it harder and funner ^.^

I thought a simple "no" would get you discouraged.

It makes sense to have 1 starter gun.

Making changes now will annoy players who already have accounts.

Players have to buy the rifle they want, and therefore don't have enough GP to buy a sniper and 2 pistols for both bags.

Allow the AK / M4 to be a starter would be a GP disadvantage on all current players, as I doubt many use the M16 as their main.

And well, XM8 as a starter gun anyone? Rofl.

CF Japan has this, where you choose your own gun to start. There's only a few guns you can pick from though:

MP5
AK-47
M16
M4A1
Steyr Aug
Dragunov
M700
XM8

This should be in the suggestion section though.
