Crossfire keeps losing connection...

Yes, my computer is crappy, but before you reply please note that:
-Everything else works fine (Internet explorer, other online games, even my iPod touch works faster than this)

I wait for CF to load and then type in my password and go to a server selection screen. By the time I get into a match, a pop-up message comes up saying "Disconnected from server".

Help plz?

I've had this game for about 6 months or something and the error message started last night.

Yeh i had the same problem last night, i quit cf for about an hour then went back on and didnt dc again. If you cant get it to work you might have to try reinstalling

but id wait a bit first.

Are you on a stable connection? e.g ethnernet line connected directly to the modem?

This message usually occurs when my microwave is running since it causes a great deal of interference to my router.

Do a clean install of the game.

To do this follow these steps:

- Open Up My Computer
- Delete the CF directory (Program Files/Z8Games/CrossFire/)
- Delete the CF directory (<user>/Document/CrossFire/)
- Clean the leftovers using programs such as 'CCleaner'.
- Restart your computer
- Disable your anti virus
- Download the newest client from our downloads site
- Install the game from the new download
- Add the entire crossfire folder to your antivirus exceptions
- Re-enable realtime protection

PS; Your latency is also known as your ping.

Tell me what latency you get in Alpha, or whatever server you'd like.

Just a suggestion..idk if it makes any difference but are you in the right server thats nearest to you? Just asking, even though you've said its been 6months that you have been playing.
