So boring

Hello guys,i know this is my first post on this forum.
Btw,Crossfire,as everybody knows,doesn't work so good.
It says "Error to download version.ini". Btw,i tried uninstall the game and re-download it.
I've downloaded it but now when i click on the .exe,my pc lags and my desktop's icons disappear.
I have to wait 10 minutes before my pc perfectly work.
What's happened? Answer me please,i want to play soon
