why is xm8 so underrated?

It's not underrated. Most good clans realize it's noobier than a scar light.

XM8 is an amazing gun if you have a good gamesense and good hs'ing ability. 100% wallbang is worth paying most of the gp for as its really really useful.
And no,its not under-rated just not common as skill lites take over the community( or m12s's). If there was no SL/m12 there would be a lot more xm8 players,probably less player than m4 or awm but more than ak47. (those 4 there are probably the best 4 guns)

Simple question, simple answer.


It isn't.

It has not been picked up by the general pub community because it excels in two areas that the general pub community doesn't or can't utilise:

1. Wallbang
2. Bursting

It has lower dammage, higher recoil and lower accuracy than SL.
