GR Advantages:
-Guns (though, bring a crappy gun into a GM room and it don't mean anything. lol never seen anyone but a hacker kill a ghost with an Uzi for instance.)
I've killed plenty of ghosts with an Uzi...
As BL I play with knife and no bdown/stepdown.
As GR I can use any gun and hold my own.
Yes shovel + bdown = super ez ghost ownage against most players. but if you have a skilled players on GR one or two kills is all he'll get before he gets shot.
It's well balanced and it all depends on the skill of the players. -
I think for the most part people in here are saying one side is overpowered because they find it easier to play on that side. I felt similar for awhile so I started playing the side I found harder.
(I look for challenges its the best way to learn.)
After doing this, I can now play both sides exceptionally well. I don't see anything unbalanced about it. Every advantage on both sides has its pros and cons. -
Both sides are just as balanced. It's the way to person plays/decides to use the side.
If you can't bhop, your going to think BL will be unbalanced. If you can't pinpoint, your going to think GR is unbalanced.
And to people that say the shovel is cheap or whatever, the ghost are invisible, so what's the difference between an axe, knife, and shovel death? -

BL is overpowered..
I think I'm a reasonable pinpointer.. but when a good bhopping ghost joins the game and has shovel and breath down I'm pretty much screwed..
I'm an average bhopper.. and 1 time I went 1 vs 1 against a reasonable pinpointer.. and I shoveled him so easily before he could hear and react.. I don't have breath down.. so with breath down he'd be totally screwed.. -

First off shovel is the easiest thing ever to use, making it really is to "look" pro.
Second there are ways to kill shoveling bhopers... maybe I should make a guide -_-
There is more to playing GR as pro then turning your volume up and praying the first shovel swing misses...
So fight a real pro then say BL is overpowered. -

when a certain guy I know comes in as ghost.. I know I'm doomed.. I DON'T hear him at all before he shovels me.. so what I do is...... spray like hell where he killed me last round.. and I get him a lot

I still like the combat axe better. The wind up time on the shovel throws my timing off I think. -

But A real pro doesn't care what kind of weapon is being used.
AGREE, But the ghosts have more options for play (in this mode)
Now the REAL problem are the hackers, is very hard play in this mode if the anothers players seen the positions of GR or BL, in some games are very fast killing entire team in seconds or with a increible score of 54 / 0. Adding the extra options, low ping, and high FPS. Is imposible kill these players. -
both sides can be played well by pros
BL--- axe or shovel, aim at head, foot step/breath down, bunny hop, tricky planting spots, team working together = pownage
GR--- good headsets (hear foot steps/breathing), fast/good aim, fast reacting, good eyesight, good cover when team mate if defusing, team working together = pownage -

pro GR= pinpointer
Noob GR= shotgun
Pro BL = bhop
noob BL= shovel
sorry if that wasn't clear, but i did say I only use knife and didn't care what gun I had on GR

due to the fact that you CANNOT hear a ghost that b hops untill AFTER your dead bl has the advantage. the ONLY way gr will win is if ghosts are idiots and cant play right. i myself am a GR player. i am good at GR and ok at BL. i can b hop but not very well. if a ghost can b hop with 100% accuracy than he will never be killed unless theres lucky spray or hackers. The advantage CLEARLY goes to BL. The only way gr has an advantage is if BL doesnt know how to b hop perfectly.

Hmm, thanks for opinions. Lately I've been playing as GR, and I must say that breathdown'ers are still arguably killable (exept when our lovely GR team begins to spray like there is no tomorow).
And also, something I recently noticed, that most ghosts forget the step down perk. I usually don't even need as I just NEVER move normally (BH'ing, allways) but I often hear ghosts who have low breaths running around. Thus knowing where they are running, and where to expect them at.
I still must say that I can't find a gun on GR side wich makes the game as easy as the Breath Low/Step Low combined perks and a spade. -

i said unless they get caught by lucky spray or there is hackers they wont loose, which is the phuking truth. why do u twist what i said? i never said anything at all about being invincible. re-read my post . i sincerly hate it when someone takes what i said and twists it . its not like i worded it so u couldnt understand....... i said it plainly and very simple. if you cant follow a simple conversation than you do not need to post in the forums anymore.
