It would help the forums activity too. A lot more people would use the Fan Art section. And as far as bandwidth goes... Z8 makes mad moolah. They have servers capable of supporting a crap load of players... And several servers... I think they could handle it.

i had a sig in the old suba forum and when cf and metin got with z8 together we had sigs!!!
weeks later i find out my sig is gone....
surprise no more sigs for regular users =/
if we dont have a sig with a pic why have a sig at all?

Signatures aren't used because we can't have people uncontrollably uploading whatever they want.
We don't have the manpower to screen every signature.
And for some reason we don't have the karma system which was a good solution.
So no, I don't see it in the near future unless we magically get karma back. -

I've been on several forums where they allow pic sigs etc...they are often incredibly slow to load (I have ADSL2+) compared to those forums which are far more streamlined...I'd rather this forum be kept simple, neat and tidy. I don't want to have to have annoying pictures popping up everywhere, I just want to read other people's opinions and comments, which is what forums are for.
I may have all the bandwidth in the world to load pic sigs, but I'd rather a more clean, easy to read/mod that loads reasonably fast. -

And if a thousand people suddenly decide to upload bluewaffles, its not as fun any more.
It won't happen.
People in different forums can't use avatars because the mods are afraid they might abuse it but they get to have picture signatures, yet their forums get along perfectly well.
People in our forums cant use signatures with pictures in them because the GM's are afraid people will abuse it, but we can have avatars.

It won't happen. Its not a discussion, it is how it is.
Hopefully we'll be able to bring it back with the karma system, but I of course ha no idea when that will happen. -
Avv's are just as dangerous as sigs. I might as well resize and upload a screeny from "Two Girls, one cup" as my avv. Plus, I wasn't really active here for like half a year simply because I enjoy making siggy's, and what's the point of making one if you can't use it?
I've been on sooo many sites that allow siggy's, and they have way more forumers than this "Community" if you could call it that. I'm pretty sure they loaded up way faster.. I'm ok with the bare essentials that z8 provides, but z8 seriously has got to get off their butts and do something about anything.. -
The people on the forums will know enough not to frikin upload inappropriate things.
On these forums, I've never came across a blue waffle ava. Nothing very inappropriate besides some half nude girls, but that's always good.
Of course, your going to have a few bozos that wanna fk around so they put blue waffles into there signature.
Really, I don't see the problem with signatures.
And if we can't have both, take away the avatar, I'd so much rather a signature. 100X100 doesn't give much space to put what want. Signature spots are mostly like what, 150 x 1500 or something close? Could tell alot about a person then some little space we have now.
