My thoughts on the Tar-21...
If you like to tap shot and burst, this gun is completely for you. For those of you who have seen Guiden's review, he wasn't lying when he said this gun is amazing at bursting. The Tar-21 is a headshot monster on steroids. During its first 3 to 4 shots, I'd say its accuracy and recoil combination are better than that of the legendary Scar-L's. This gun is incredible at one shotting, no doubt about it. Its recoil is fairly low and its accuracy is beyond pinpoint. I agree with Guiden; this weapon is basically just as accurate as the M4-C. It also recovers from recoil quickly which is never a bad thing. Reload is quick. Same power as an M4.
Downsides... there aren't too many. If you get carried away spraying, you'll run out of ammo fast. A lot of people hate its spray pattern and I'll agree that it is pretty random but that's only if you let it spray past 10 shots - which should be more than enough to kill someone. Up until that 10 shot point, the spray is completely usable. The scope is a little useless because I find long range is completely manageable without it.
This gun is best described as the middle ground between an AUG and M4. It's extremely comparable to an AUG. It feels just like one with much less recoil recoil and spread. During the first couple shots, it performs like an AUG but you can play it like an M4 because it's truly all purpose. I was expecting this weapon to be garbage from the couple times I've picked it up but after buying it, I'm pleasantly surprised.
Contrary to popular belief, Tar-21 doesn't suck at all... but it's definitely not for everyone. Know your playstyle before arming yourself.

I own both and can tell you this isn't true. When strafing, they have roughly the same accuracy. Standing still, the Tar is more accurate and when crouched, it's much more accurate. It also has a much different spray pattern so your post isn't even remotely correct. The Tar is more like an AUG than an M4. -
The gun isn't too easy, or else we would see a lot more Tar21 users and a lot less Scar Light users.
I got the Tar the day the patch came out.

Don't compare a m4a1 to a tar. The acc of a tar is much higher then a m4a1 -
Define accuracy. Every gun fires the 1st bullet straight from a stationary position. On the move = run n gun ability, not "accuracy". Where it fires on subsequent bullets = recoil & spread.
I'd be interested to see the advantages of the TAR over the XM8. Considering XM8 is also great for bursting and one-shotting (IMHO), plus it can wallbang.
I own both, haven't gotten the hang of the TAR at all. -
I was referring to how accurate the gun stays over repeated shots. For the Tar, it's about 5 bullets max and then you have to wait for it cool down. For me, this gun just performs better than XM8. It feels better for me when I use it.
It won't be long before people start calling this gun a noob cannon even though I just tried some back to back games using M4 and Tar with similar results each game. I also picked up an AK and found it just as easy to one shot with and its spray is far better so this should eliminate any probability of people seeing the Tar as overpowered. But people love to complain...
Although I shouldn't care, I'm worried I will get accused of being a noob for using this gun.
