between m700/dragg/psg
want to try something different from awm, saw in reviews here that all of them have to be 2 shots in the chest kill, I am not a headshooter with awm, so which one is better in terms of ROF, ease to use, like much lighter, more ammo count?
ps. another question, the way to use m700/dragg/psg, you just double click on the chest, if not headshot?

1) Dragg
2) M700
3) PsgActually, its the other way around.
1) PSG-1 (especially the red dragon)
2) M700
3) Dragunov
Why? For the following reasons; What do you look for in a sniper rifle when its not a reliable 1 shot kill? The answer; Speed and flexibility to deliver a second shot. The PSG-1 has the fastest firing rate of all sniper rifles, so it has the others beat on speed. Its also very light, making the player more flexible to dodge counter fire. Only the M700 is lighter than the PSG-1, and though its a fairily good reliable sniper rifle, the M700 isn't very accurate or fast. Especially when moving, where with a sniper rifle like this it is crucial that it maintains its accuracy. And this is where the M700 fails to deliver, while the PSG-1 does.
The Dragunov, however, is a tank that fails to measure up to its big brother, the AWM. It may be a bit faster and lighter, its still too slow and heavy to be a reliable sniper rifle on the move. Add to that that it loses heavily on accuracy while moving, and you have yourself a counter sniper death trap when failing to do a 100 damage.

M700 is a good rifle to use if you are practicing to get better, as for a serious game, its a no-no.
Dragunov is a nice semi-automatic weapon, fastest shooting sniper in game (Not counting MSG90). It shoots 0.21 seconds faster than PSG-1. Its also most of the time a one shot kill. But commonly a 2 shot kill.
PSG-1 is a less common sniper, considering the only way to obtain it is throught the Black Market. Though it is similiar to a Dragunov with it's semi-automatic capabilities, it has a more powerful shot.
My vote goes to Dragunov though. ^^ -
1) M700
2) Draggy
3) PSG-1
I have to disagree with Lolli
The M700 wins merely cos of lightness and accuracy.
The Draggy beats the PSG because of it's quick switch speed compared to PSG.
PSG is great for TD's but not for other modes.
ill have to disagree with you.
sure the m700 is accurate, but if you're not any good at sniping at all, best not to use it.
as for my rating:
1. psg
2. drag
3. r7000 (the R because it was made by remington arms) -
yo, you forgot about the awm-camoThere's not enough difference in performance between the AWM and the AWM Camo for me to feel the need to mention them separately.
However, the PSG-1 RD and the regular PSG-1 are nothing alike. The PSG-1 RD is THE best sniper rifle currently in the game for a TRUE marksman.

...one thing that ticks me off is the PSG-1 (Dragon) is horrible for quick scoping... its also the heaviest out of the 3 you wanted described... so if they were all dropped infront of me... id jump over them, I also found at longer range it has a fairly lower chance of doing 1 hit body kills compared to the dragunov.
Now between the m700 and dragunov... hmmm depends on how lazy I am.
M700 has absolutely no chance of doing a 1 hit kill... however, Ive easily played around with it enough that through quick scoping and rapid repositioning, you can easily pop another body shot into your opponent making them cry your 1 hit hacking. But what the m700 is really for... is extended headshot kills... while I dont recommend using this in serious clan battles.... unless you fancy yourself "REALLY" good, I prefer to use this over my awm in public matches... really grinds people's nards when you continiously headshot them with a "newbie" weapon, but it does take awhile to get use to the accuracy and what not, and the habit of head-aiming through quickscopes.
Dragunov, If i have a 4th bag on, this would go in it with my trusty P228. Pop em in the body, and if they dont fall down, do a hacking long range pistol kill =D. IT shoots nearly as fast as the m700, not quite as light, but way lighter than the PSG1, and alot more easier to quickscope. Basically it handles like a waterdowned AWM, just dont try peeking too much with it... because chances are, the damage will seem random to you. Usually when I have this gun I dont try to camp unless its around a close corner, and usually keep myself moving and ready to switch to my pistol/knife after shooting. As for its 100 damage. use it long enough and you could net 80+ percent of your kills in 1 hit, even at long range.
PSG1... cant double scope... and its just fancy and more for the lols. -

And the PSG-1 is heavy? Dude, the only sniper rifle lighter than the PSG-1, is the M700. Get you facts straight, because you're selling bull....!

quite likely that i had my sensitivities during the time i was using, so meh, and out of using it with the m700 and dragunov, it felt awkward so... in the end its all just preference, its not like i wouldnt do bad with it... its just it'd feel like junk to me, like an m16 ^^.
and i think i said, i found the dragunov easier to quick scope with over the psg1... doesnt mean it would be the same for you, and how the hell would it be made for quick scopes if you dont have to scope out... im sorry but the online time i stay scoped in is when im prescoping an area, sometimes double-scoped. Often times i see people just staying in scope with the psg1 then wondering how they died from the side... -

In alot of threads like this i seen Lolliroger defending and encouraging people to get the psg-rd.
So, i went and got the psg-1 for a few weeks and gave it a try, and its by far one of the funnest guns, and its really.. really good. Id recommend it you to give a it a try, and i cant wait till i get my psg-rd -

Nice writing ! -
i just got a dragonov and it works well in maps where your team is rushing forwards, many times the enemy is already wounded a little in which case it just takes one shot to kill them. but you can't really compete against the one hit wonders (awm) where they just wait until your elbow sticks around the corner, or they shoot you in the foot.

m700
the m700 is the only 2 shot dead weapon only a headshot is 1hit XD

Having used all three weapons myself I feel its as follows in terms of ease of use and then those who are skilled enough to use them properly.
For ease of use:
Draggy (I love how this thing sounds in GM as it echoes terror across the map. lol)
PSG-1
M700
Skill Reliant:
PSG-1
M700 (Only because in all seriousness, not being able to 1 shot is a serious disadvantage for a sniper)
Draggy (not saying it requires no skill, but I feel you need to be quite the better marksman to use the top two more.)
It takes alot of time, patience and skill to pull off those quick shots with the m700, those who rely on body shots to score quick kills will most likely have a hard time using it effectively, and it still has a chance of failing against the other two as if its not a headshot, you've increased your chances of dying two-fold.
Dragunov is a reliable gun, the occasional non-1 stop killer can be a drag for those who rely on the awm's all round killer power, but, its one of the best guns for crowd control and stll dealing those lethal shots at time. A little heavy, (lighter than the awm) but its firing rate makes up for it. Good for those rushers, or clumped together enemies to pump off fast shots.
PSG-1, fast, fairly light, I'd say its the older brother to the m700. Unlike the other snipers that contain more power, I find the PSG-1 is a run and gun sniper. Camping usually isn't it's forte considering its range and power. But, even for those well guarded shots can take down a number, quick scope easily and still maintain movement if necessary. I haven't used the RD version (T..T;; bloody coupons) so i can't tell how much better the gun is in such a sense. Generally in tense combat situations involving alot of gunfire I think the psg beats the other two. only having one scope allows you to take aim quicker than the other two. (and personally, i find I rarely need the second zoom for most snipers)
