XM8 whats wrong with me? .. or you? (and what would you recommend XM8 or Thompson?)

I used to play alot of shooters with G36 so wanted to go with that but rememberd I had a really old account with G36 in Crossfire and I didn't feel like taking it again. (I sometimes don't play CF a couple of months) So I guessed the XM8 is nice to (and better cause its higher lvled) the problem is that when I play Alaska I rock with it (is pretty much the best weapon in there if you ask me) so then I desided to take my luck on crates with it for the Advanced which seems much more asome +5 rounds and a controlled burst scope mode ftw but every time I pick it up in matches I fail with it and I don't know why.. though I am a reasonably good player (no pro but no noob either) and I do good with the normal one in Alaska but if I pick up advanced or normal one in S&D or TDM or something I get powned I dunno why so now I am doubting between Thompson (I know its noob cannon but I love the maffia

) or XM8 Adv what would you recommend?

i guess the tommy...
im sure theres a little difference in the stats of the XM8 an the XM8-adv.
Although I can't confirm that.

i dont know i just won the xm8 adv yesterday

and i feel adiffrences

i own with the normal xm8 more than the adv (without considering scope )

try the luck with the Tommy gun! i've got XM8 Adv and Thompson , but i prefer the thompson , all the player says that tommy gun is noob only because it have 60 ammo and he pwn ass! i just love my tommy! but xm8 is not so god i think.

I think that the XM8 is a terrific weapon, and I honestly pwn quite a bit more with the normal one than the Adv.

That being said, I'm now interchanging between Streyr (the GP buyable one) AUG which has pinpoint accuracy and looks amazing and the XM8.

The Thompson is probably easier for pubbing, but the XM8 is definitely better for scrims or S&D with anyone who doesn't suck.

maybe the people your playing with in alaska just suck? whenever im forced to play there in a scrim,its always laggy turks or BR's that play alaska. dunno why -.-

I prefer xm8 over thompson. rifle >>>>>> smg any day.
Except for tdm,where you can just spray or prefire corners with the thompson.

The XM8 adv is better in the long run. It might teach you to headshot while the thompson won't improve your skill.

Thompson=dumb noob cannon. You should get the Xm8 Adv. It requires more skill

Thompson: Epic Spray Noob! (The bullets dont last that long if you spray)
XM8: Pro Gun (The gun needs skill but the scope is pointless)

I prefer the xm8 if you are not a spray noob.(i have a thompson myself. but dont use it.)

hes the problem when u get the xm8-adv in ur hands while your playing SnD One goes YES I AM USING THE XM8-ADV and you dont really think about using it properly, when the XM8 came out i was a huge fan of it then i started disliking. then one time i got the crate for sht and giggles and now i wuv it soo much but i cant have my playing time -.- SUCKS RUST knows what i mean

Xm8 for sure, and if your more comfortable with the Xm8-Reg over Xm8-Adv then go with that. I'm better with the Adv for whatever reason.

xm8 deffo, thompson is cqc only really plus it doesnt really require much skill. xm8 is awsomes.

xm8 adv

xm8 adv is different cause when u scope it change to 3 burst shooting and the normal one is always automatic maby that's y ur not so good
