Okay, Am I missing something here?

Just started to play again, but I seem to be struggling to kill anything.

Regardless of what enemy I come across first, regardless of that enemy's ping, skill, score, current hp. I die. 3/4 the time to a headshot in the first burst. The other 1/4 of the time within half a second.

Regardless of range. Surely some of these are cheaters, (Such as several times when I've died from 1 shot from an M16 half way across the map).

At first I thought it was that was I was rusty. As I couldn't for the life of my burst fire. But now I can. But it's still happening. I'm getting killed before I can either put my crosshairs on the foe or before I can fire.

Regardless of how I play too, and what weapons. I've even tried to just solely camp all the time (that how desperate I got :P) but regardless, Just in that case, I fire a burst, and before I can fire another burst, they've turned around and killed me.

So then I thought it might've been lag issues. So I went onto UK servers, according to the status my ping hovers around 12-18. Everyone else are generally 50-100. So can't be lag.

Then I thought it could've been FPS. But that definitely wasn't it. (60-150 fps).

And I doubt that every player I come across is hacking or a pro.

What makes this even more perplexing is when I'm observing team mates, they take awhile to kill each other, just as how I remember it being. But the moment I appear... BANG BANG DEAD -.-

It's been like this for five days or so. So what the hell's going on.. did I miss something? Is the actual case of the situation is that there IS that many cheating?
