Yeah around 150+ in 8v8. and clocked at? As computer savy as I am I'm not sure if I know what that is.

But from what you say. I guess the cpu does have an effect, but not remotely as much as the video card. -

Well I get about 70 fps in an 8v8, so 35 split between my graphic unit and my processing unit (Just a roundup)
My GPU and CPU are in the same leagues in performance, in your case.. the i7 is the best processor on the market while your GT240 is a mid-end card that's pars up with my 4650. So your graphic unit is probably doing about 50 fps, what about the other 100? -
I have 2 4870's Crossfire mode
and AMD 955 X4 @ 3.6 GHz.
Well, Cross fire does not support CrossfireX, which is kind of gheyyy.
I get 90-300 FPS depending on the situation.
And also, GTS240 is the remake of 9600GT
It would actually be as good as a 9800GT since the GTS 250 is pretty much a 9800GX+
The GT240 would be around the 9600GT's level. -
Let me clear a few things up. You CPU can only process one application to a certain extent (Its max for that program) I've got an 2.8ghz quad core. It uses maybe 60% when I have mozzila and a few other programs while playing CF. But CF only uses a portion of that to run the game. The other part it ram. And OF COURSE graphics card! Graphics makes everything smoother and a lot more fps. I get 250 in 1v1 and 100+ in 8v8 td.
My GPU (graphics card) is an ati hd 4200. Which isn't very good. So my cpu makes up for it somewhat. But it can't help everything. You still need yin and yang with your computer. If I were to upgrade it to a 1g gddr3 gpu I would get around a constant 210+ in a td 8v8. Because my current one is a integrated graphics. With this being said. Discuss. -

I would just call you plain 'stupid' if you overclock a laptop 700Mhz...., you will just cook you laptop.

I wanted to make a vid once of my gameplay...
But soon i came to realise that my GrCa isn't powerfull enough...
I can make a vid... but the view is that sh*tty...
So having a good GrCa is essential...
My card can't process the images that fast... so I need to put the graphics on minimum to get a vid...
If I try anything higher, my FPS drops to 10-15 FPS...---> impossible to play
I have an Onboard 512 mb..
Gonna get me the Ati 5850 or 5870 next month...

What an idiot, a normal PC with 4 case fans and a V8 cooler, when overclocked by just 600 Mhz, the temp goes up by 5-15 C...
With a tiny twiddly cooling fan, it aint gonna do nothing, escpecially when you overclock a massive 700 Mhz, so stop being an idiot and get your facts right. -

It also depends on your processor, But I'd say 55 in an 8v8.
