The CF Community As It Is
Not sure if this is in the proper section.. but I digress
In my honest opinion... I really do believe that the community is a rather good one, better than Combat Arms, better than any other one that I've encountered (aside from AssaultCube's)
And the reason why I say this, is because of the way I think a community works.
In FPS games, when people say community, they generally mean everyone involved, but when i say community, I honestly don't consider you a part of the community until you take part in the forums, and the game.
Because we talk about how the CF community sucks so much, it's not us, it's mainly the people who don't bother to check in with the forums, (The brazilians if you need an example lol) who mainly ruin the game for the lot of us.
The hackers, glitchers, ect ect aren't a part of the community, because they take no active part in the forums, or in the game, and they're a destructive influence in general.
Most, if not everyone who comes to the forums and stalks around it constantly are a good influence to the community.
I have more to say, but no way to say it.
And I know I'm going to get flamed.... mainly because I have no knowledge of what I'm saying as I type this all out...

The community should involve Forums and the game, but since the game is full of South Americans who can't read a bit of English how are they supposed to read the forums. I doubt they are gonna translate every page and be known on the forums.
Also putting glitchers into one category is wrong. People like Denxi who spends more time playing the game to find glitches/bugs and other things is also a big part of the forum w/ his ideas and fixes that try to help the community. Yes the people who have nothing to do w/ the community and sit and glitch in pubs are the ones who wreck the community. -

But not in the process of gaining an unfair advantage.

OT: I would have to agree, though South Americans aren't really a problem (In fact I know alot of cool ppl), Its strictly the majority of Brasil.
