i tried to do this on a mac and it was hilarious . The keyboard felt weird i could barely get 30 words.

Laptop keyboards > normal keyboards imo. Though sometimes I wasn't sure if I hit the button or not because it doesn't make a sound when I type.

It takes into account words per minute, mistakes and characters. So if you get 40 words in a row with only three or so letters it doesn't give you as much as a word with say, seven.

Also, some of you speed typers need to get your hands checked for arthritis. Freaks is what you all are.

Alright, I hit 98, but I thought that was wrong, and I remembered that I typed 170 GROSS words a minute, not words. Gross words are Four or Five letter words.

this is clearly very unaccurate because when you type you think about what you will be typing and the words make sense together so its all ready alot faster
while here you have to look at the monitor and you are typing random words.
