M4 vs. Tar
So, I compared them in the shop and it turns out they are completely identical except the M4 is more accurate. Can anyone who owns them both give me some insight about what makes these guns different? I've used the M4 enough to know what its like but the Tar is a mystery to me.

The Tar-21 IMO has a better RoF and thus better DPS (since they are almost at the same damage) besides there is a big technical difference in those two guns. First, Tar posseser a scope, M4 does not. Now some people can't use the scope, but me, it makes me pick off those snipers in a different way then M4'ing them.
Second, the recoil. Tar's recoil goes like, first few buttelts stick DEAD ON, but the next are going everywhere. M4's recoil kicks in before the Tar's, but it's far more controllable and IMO settles back in faster.
As I said before, the Tar has a better ROF, thus can be used better at close range where DPS plays an important role. But, it's ammo depletes way faster, and if you're used to exactly know how much ammo you need for killing someone with an M4, look out for ammo shortages with the Tar.

That's exactly what I was looking for, Emotive. Would you say the Tar is a good compromise between the G36K and the M4? On paper this sounds logical but I've heard the Tar has a terrible spray pattern. I'm not too interested in purchasing either despite possesing the GP to do such; I just want to know for my own good.

I own the tar and just so happen to also have m4
In my opinion CF can never make a gun better than the basics M4 & AK47
But Emotive is correct couldn't have said it better myself
btw i rarely use my Tar i still use M4A1-A Silver :d
