Pro Guns for Ghost Mode?
Hey I have just started this game today, and I fell in love with this mode, but as I read through these forums, there are some guns that catch a lot of grief for being OP/Noob Cannon/Crappy so what are those guns that do very well in GM, what I have noticed in GM is that you need good reflexes and an accurate gun with good rof, so what are my options, I plan on doing surveys tomarrow, but I would like a guaranteed gun, instead of squandering all the ZP I make from surveys. So any advice would be great!

lol this is tooo easy: m60, spas 12, xm1014, mp5, tompson, glock 18, p90, awm (warning: this gun might do very bad for some players in GM but 4 me it is alsome, i stay back at a hard to reach place aka tricky spot and just stay there and ppl try to kill me but then in the end get owned by 1 bullet)

I play a lot of ghost mode and own a thompson, it is great to me.
A m4a1 adv and custom is a great choice because they got silencers so you dont making a noise and nobody call you a noob with them. -
Custom is great, any silenced is great, awm is great, deagle is great, shovel is great.Hey I have just started this game today, and I fell in love with this mode, but as I read through these forums, there are some guns that catch a lot of grief for being OP/Noob Cannon/Crappy so what are those guns that do very well in GM, what I have noticed in GM is that you need good reflexes and an accurate gun with good rof, so what are my options, I plan on doing surveys tomarrow, but I would like a guaranteed gun, instead of squandering all the ZP I make from surveys. -SMGs and shotties are only good at close range. Ok, ghosts need to be close to you to kill you. But it doesn't mean you'll only see ghosts nearby. Your gun will be fairly useless if you spot a ghost across the map.... A dead ghost on the other side of the map won't hurt you anymore

- m60 is heavy and pure spray & pray after bullet 2. You won't be running far when a ghost chases you.
- guns that are too noisy will annoy your teammates (and hurt your/their ears), especially if you spray too much.
- AWM takes a bit of practice, but every map has a spot to snipe at round start + some places for later in game. Just make sure to bring a decent sidearm.
- Don't take a gun with a slow reload, ghosts like to attack you when you reload.
- M4, G36K, AK are good at long and close (especially AK) range -

If you know how to listen, go grab M4A1-custom or any silence gun.
If you don't know how, grab M60 or AK, which will deal high damage.
(M60 for low accurate+superme amno backup, AK for high accurate but less amno)
If you know what your doing you can use AK
know where they are bam dead straight away
I would reccomend any m4 variation or ak-knife. Anaconda as a pistol -
If you wanna spray like hell, go with the Thompson or maybe the Kriss (if you're lucky enough to win it).
M60's great, only because of the power, and you're gonna have to compensate for moving slowly when you've got this bad boy.
M4a1-Adv. is one of my fave guns in GM, just make sure you don't tag along with any sprayers, since this is possibly the best pinpointing gun, and you can get some great HS from distance.
Shottys are great, but only at close distance, and there's always that risk factor if you let a ghost get too close. On the other hand, the XM1014 can shoot after every new cartridge is reloaded, which can be handy if you're being chased or outnumbered.
Oh, and have a Deagle as your sidearm, you'll need it if you're planning on getting a sprayers gun. -

i agree with u, but i think the thompson is the best gun for pinpointing, i use it and its great, its too loud but the good side is that 60 bullets in 1 clip so you can pinpoint many places without reloading, i know how to listen and great pinpoint and i can tell that an ordinary m4a1 isnt good for ghost mode (my opinion, maybe it isnt like that), m4a1 adv and custom are great, with my tommy, sometimes i run to a ghost base and cheasing the ghosts, they always run from me unless they are pros and have showels but then i use other tactic...
oh yes, i almost forgot, the shotguns are great but you must be quick and have defensive stance, wait the ghosts attack you and bang in chest (if you listen you will know what direction you must turn) -
GR
AK-Knife
Any M4 with a silencer (M4 silver i find is best +5 ammo which is more than custom and is perm unlike the -adv)
MP5/MP5-Adv
Spas12/XM1014 (dont spray excessively with these tho they are quite loud)
M60/M60-adv/RPK/RPK-Camo (again dont spray excessively)
AWM/PSG-1/MSG90 (although im personally bad with these in GM cos i dont like camping ^-^)
G36K
XM8/XM8-Adv
Winchester (watch out when reloading though)
BL
Knife (the worst melee weapon as it has a small range and low damage unless you right click the head)
Shovel/Axe (shovel is only available for 7/30/90 days atm but axe can be bought perm for 50 coupons as well as 7/30/90 days)
A lot of people are going to wonder why i didnt put the Thompson, the reason is this gun tears up peoples ears when they are searching for ghosts more so than any other gun imo
Hope this helped

My GM record is about a 4.2 k/d so believe me when i say, you want both a spray gun and a power one. I suggest both because it depense on what ghosts you are facing. You might want a pistol in both bags too and dont SMOKE!it doesnt help at all really. AK-47 or other aks are good because HS chance is high it the best for pro GM. That gun is recomended for b-hopers / camping ghosts.
If however you encounter the charging kind you need a spray weapon with 50 ammo +. This is where the Thompson or a shotty comes in you can fire without having to worrie too much about reload or other things like that.
Never use sg-552, K1-a, M-60 or other really loud guns. People might argue that the m-60 good. I thought that for the longest time until i realized i could pinpoint very well with quite guns. MP-5 Advance, M4-C or Cammo, and kriss are good ZP guns
The very best overall is the AK-47 knife. This give lethality at all ranges and is good in a bind. It cost 80 coupons however but if you are willing to spend that much it would be your best bet. High power, extra 5 ammo (helps a lot) and of course 1 hit knife for close range. -
Well, I have about 16 guns. In Ghost Mode I always use UZI. Why? because when you shoot constantly the Ghosts get stopped by the firing rate and they won't kill you. Another thing is that I use Anaconda. why? because it has a good accuracy and it's easy to give a Ghost a HeadShot.
