I have it but don't use it. It has high ROF but is weak and with strong recoil. I don't use it because of the recoil. I don't play much but you may try to whisper me and if I'm online I will equip and drop it for you so you may test. Don't remember if it's in Alaska btw. You can find my IGN in my sig.

This gun is more of an SMG than a Rifle. Of course, it's too heavy for an SMG, but it outperforms ANY smg (Exept maybe the noobguns Tommy,Kriss and M12) since it got fast ROF AND higher damage. It's also very prescice on the 2 first shots, and posseses a scope, wich you need to know how to use if you want to use it more than just at closerange (the ROF goes a little down, so the recoil isn't as much kicking). It's also a RailGun, for it's damage being 100% through walls. I used this gun as my main for 6 months, and I STRONGLY recommend it.

Pretty good accuracy, M4ish power, SMG fire rate, moderate recoil. The moderate recoil + the SMG fire rate make it very hard to control at long range. It's not the recoil as much as it is controlling the insane fire rate that will cause you to miss shots. Once you adjust, it's an incredibly lethal weapon at all ranges. Vertical recoil is good for headshots and this gun has a very reliable burst when standing still. Spray pattern is usable but will take some time to adjust to, nothing big.
When I played, this gun was regarded as uber pro, kind of like how the AK is now. At any rate, it is EXTREMELY underrated in the same vein as the K2; a great weapon that many people overlook for other options. -

It's extremely comparable to XM8. It has a higher fire rate at the cost of stopping power and a slight accuracy disadvantage. If you love to spray or find yourself in CQC often, this gun is basically for you. -

It's basically an XM8 with more RoF and thus less controlability but even more CQC power thus to that ROF. And yes, it IS good for headshots (I'm not too good headshotter with it hence I aim head, and with this ya shall aim the body to let the recoil go up the head.)

G36K is my baby. It reminds me of an AK at half power and double speed (although its more than half power). I has a similar spray pattern, but the recoil dissipates much quicker. Its my favorite gun for close to mid range. The recoil finds the head nicely, like an AK, and at close range this gun probably has the quickest spray down I've seen, except maybe the M12S or Kriss. The accuracy seems great to me, although I don't use mine for long range, as it gets difficult to control. I use my AK for mid to long range and G36K for close to mid range. If you can use the scope, which I can't; it's the most intrusive scope in the game to look through; I'm sure it's quite good for long range too.
In short, you want this gun! Especially if you use XM8 / K2. G36K - close range; XM8 - mid range; K2 - long range. It's really the missing link. -
Little sister to the XM8 basically, but I stopped using it because while I was good with it, I find that I'm more consistant with a weapon like the M4A1, and so now I'm using the AK-47, which isn't terribly hard to get used to, since the main difference from the M4 is the recoil
But basically, it's a underrated gun, and it does amazing in the right hands, as most guns do.

This gun can do long range, it just wasn't made for it. The G36K is almost an all purpose rifle but is definitely more designed for close/mid. You can pull off long range with it and I would advise practicing it. Just take it to Monaco and treat it like a sniper. It's not too hard to pull off and it is a one shot kill to the head. It's slightly easier to control at long range than the AK but its still difficult. With the G36K, you're not battling recoil, you're battling fire rate.
