Sniper into Radar

we should get the word "sniper' into our radar .
many games we get sniped and we want to warn our mates not to go out in the open ..
this add on will be vital specially in missions : )

most people dont snipe unless u do monaco

and i u can just chat to people ok ..

obviously u don't play S&D maps , at all : )
if u played downtown , desert storm , santoria or any c4 related map you will understand what I mean ..
there are thousands of pro snipers out there but you probably playing Egypt and ship :P

I second this idea, or at least a thing that says "Enemy covering this site" or something along those lines. The regular "Enemy spotted" is just way too vague a lot of the time. Is he coming towards you? Is he camping the bomb site? Did he not see you and is headed towards A site on a path that will get your teammate killed? You just don't know with the regular team speak menu, and by the time you type it out you're both dead.

would be good although im guessing if they added it, they'd either have to remove one other or add the v key to the list of radio commands.

exactly : )
all I'm saying is that we need to re-adjust some radar actions to be more practical in real game ..
many commands are useless and I / we never use it anyway .

Isn't that partly one of the reasons why we have macro's?
I mean am I the only one that doesn't use macro's to flame?
We can set up customizable radio messages and put your chat on team = win.

And now, for the thoughts...

It's a good idea, only...where's the space for it? "Z,X,C" are plenty enough, if you ask me, and it's sort of a reach to try and hit "V". The F5-8 keys are your best bet for anything like this, just hit your F3 for Team Channel and hit a macro key. Plus, there's always the bundle of little "X"'s on the map with [H.S. Logo] Name1 -Sniper- Name2.

imagine you are in the middle of a hell of a shooting .. you don't have all your team on xfire or vent or whatever .. you're firing and running , hiding .. you want to warn , inform your mates about something .. you WOULDN"T type at all under that heavy fire .. u use z , x , c aka Radio ..
so my point is , we should get some new commands into action and it would be freaking awesome if we get to pick ours from game settings ..
macros are great but there is a great chance many won't see it unless it's loud sound with a scary warning tone lol

Now that's a great idea. I'm never using "Team Lead"...mostly since I'm the support unit of the game. But to do this, we'd need more than just "Sniper Covering Area" to make it worth the time of the Devs.

Possibilities...

"Sniper Covering Area" (Of course)
"Cease Fire" (GM, To Sprayers)
"Going for C4" (BL)
"Covering C4" (GR, 'Bomb Spotted' doesn't always work.)
"Plant C4" (Typing "Plant" has gotten me killed soooo many times.)
"Enemy is Planting C4" (Pretty obvious

)
"M60 Sighted, Mission is SNAFUBAR." (=^^=)

I think just a new button could be assigned for:

"Enemy spotted, carrying assault rifle."
"Enemy spotted, carrying sniper rifle."
"Enemy spotted, carrying SMG."
"Enemy spotted, carrying shotgun."

ect ect.

And if there's not enough weapon types to fill all of the spaces in the new button, there's quite a few other messages that could work as well. >=D

"Need a dispenser here!"
"Need a dispenser here!"
"Need a dispenser here!"

like an auto sniper call? that totally ruins the point of a sniper hiding in a little corner..how about a manual one, click z and you know 3 is enemy spotted have another one has sniper! and yea. if it's auto no way.

In scrims/pug there's vent. In pubs....who cares if they die XD

You can snipe in any map if you're gd enough !
