Sound All laggy, but no game lagg.

My sound seems to be very laggy and studdery, in fact it is so bad i have completely turned it off now. I have tried reinstalling the game many times...i have messed with my sound settings in control panel; yet nothing seems to do the trick. Any special drivers needed? I even bought a brand new headset...

It is recommended that you reformat your computer every 6 months. Make sure you back everything up. Maybe you have a partition.

That makes no sense at all bud? Why the hell would that contribute to a sound lagg?
