Aug-Camo,taming the beast?
Anybody here know some Aug tips?I have aug-camo,and I do pretty well with it.But I want to take it to the next level.I want to know it's spray pattern,where to move the mouse to counter it.I want to know it's power to body parts(I heard aug isn't HS from monaco,is it true?).I want to know how it fares to other rifles in RoF,reload(Camo version).I want to know how it does while on the run and in CQC.I want to know how it does competitively.

I used to use AUG all the time. Don't be afraid to spray with it and use the balanced fire rate to your advantage when it comes to reloading. Always headshot with this gun, that's what it is designed to do.
If you stand up on the roof of Monaco and go to the very back of it while someone is peaking their head through the window of the building across the map and you shoot his head, I don't believe it's a one shot kill. However, it's no more than a 2 shot kill and if anything, you have a scope to use to your advantage. -

ODD: it takes like 5 sec to reload which is very uncomfortable, and the shooting speed is kinda slow.
PROS: extremely accurate, scope...
I'm going to buy the AUG camo with coupons.My previous account has a regular AUG, so my experience is 3 tapped single time, try to aim to the head with single shot =D

i love this weapon.
The camo version fixes reload,not that bad for Camo.At close range spraying is kinda ok.It usually gets the kill for me.
KK,Will keep the spray pattern in mind. Thanksthe spray pattern is a swirl to the right, polaarabeer. its slightly harder to control than the T spray pattern. it has low dps close range, but excels at mid-long rangeI think @ really far distances it has the capabilities to hit 99 or 98

HAVE patience and discipline with this gun dont go around spraying with it.
If you play with this gun everyday for a week, your headshotting skills go off the chain.
I recommend using Type C & Neon Green scope.
Left Hand if you want to get down to business with accuracy.

ill prolly get either the xm8 adv or m16s camo. im leaning more toward the xm8 adv
Get the xm-8 for sure.I have tried m16 camo a few times, and it is pretty ok when used properly.XM8-adv is better IMO tough.It has better recoil,accuracy,and Rate Of Fire. -
all right, first off, the spray pattern of the aug is pretty wierd. while spraying, it hooks up and to the right. once you understand that and how to aim in scope (at the head), you'll take it the next level
in terms of ROF and reload, the ROF is very good, about M4 status or a bit higher, and the reload as compared to a normal AUG is about a full 2 seconds faster, clocking at around 3 seconds. it's not the fastest, but it won't get you killed
oh yeah, and it's accuracy is the 2nd best of any gun in the game in scope, only behind the AWM :P.
P.S. yeah, it kills about 60% of the time from one side of Monaco to the other. otherwise, it does 97-99 damage. just hit the top of the head for a golden headshot to earn a definite one-shot kill

So top of the head ALWAYS does 100 long monaco?

Oh, sorry if this has been mentioned or something, but here's a good AUG tip. At long range, don't bother scoping in before you start shooting; that'll get you killed. When you see your target, lock on and attempt to land a few shots and THEN scope in. Lowers your recoil and will help you a lot mentally.
