Yay, no Barrett, but then I came along

I was thinking this. If the Barrett has 900 dmg per headshot and 700 damage per body on a mutant, maybe another 50 caliber sniper that has nerfed abilities? Like, per say, The AS50.
Made by the same people who made AWM, it basically has slightly more wallbang power then the AWM, but does more damage per headshot and body shot on a mutant.
1 hit kill and maybe.....not a fully accurate scope (bear with me here), or just a plain old 5-30 ammo. . I mean, if the devs could see something like this as legit, it could work....
AWM does 300 damage to mutant center chest, and about 400-500 dmg to the head. What the Barrett does is just.....lord almighty it will blow up z8games' work area. If the AS50 gets potentially 700 dmg head and 500 dmg chest, then its more powerful then the AWM, but still less then a Barrett. As on how to earn it? A gun like this shouldnt be earned through crates, but maybe coupons? Could it fill in the 2 PSG RD spaces in the 70 coupon section, or maybe the 100 coupon section to replace the extra m4 gold slot? Who knows, but I hope something like this could maybe stop the forum begginers asking "HAY GUYZ I WANT DA BARRETT TO COME 2MORROWZ!!", -.-

I for one just like Barretts in general, but the reason why most people want one of them is just because it's the most powerful gun in the game. In 98% of cases an AWM is better, just in MM it has an advantage, even though it's slow as hell. I wish that they would put it in but lower the body shot damage to around 3-400, but keep the insane headshot damage. After all, a .50 cal to the head does end most disputes.
Also, if you don't want the Barrett, meet CF China's other high powered sniper rifle.

It's basically an AWM that can kill on the off chance you get an arm/leg shot, but it fires twice as slow. IDK about you but I think that I would rather go up against one of these than a half decent person with an AWM. But 700 damage to a mutant is really powerful, like I said before I think a better thing would be 300-400 for body shots and only the full 900 for a headshot. (Or if they lowered it to about 700) I just love all Barrett guns personally, with my favorite being the M95 bolt action. It's bullpup configuration gives it the accuracy of a full size barrel in a smaller overall package.
And the barrel and muzzle break is just awesome, it diverts some of the force pushing the bullet and forces it backwards out of the muzzle break, increasing bullet velocity. It really is an awesome gun. -
Besides, you know people who will survive a shot from such a caliber at any part of the body and stay alive? I don't think so. And AWM does one shot arm kill.
You know anyone in a special ops group that can't run faster then a slow jog in tense combat situations, carry only one grenade into battle, and get equipped with M16s for high class military operations of great importance? I don't think so.
This game =\= Realism -
Why not just relase a patch including plasma shields, rubber bullets and mechas than? If you don't want to accept the fact that a bullet just bigger than your head WILL kill you in one shot, why just not make it so no one dies EVER? This game is NOT realistic, I agree, but not to the point where you could survive a shot from the Barrett. It's NORMAL. NOT overpowered.

Haha its the DSR-1! XD I wonder if they took that from my suggestion thread. I noticed its their newest addition. Very sweet, saw a video of it. -
I was talking about Quake 3. And Barrett IS a railgun. Imagine what will become a player behind a wooden wall (Fortress...) if he received a bullet wich normally makes 600 damage? Like 100 damage at LEAST.MegaHurtz8K wrote: »sry this isnt Quake 2.

Oh, I didn't realize you were a person who jumped to conclusions about people and thinks they're better than everyone else because of their uber 1337 ZP guns. For the record, I don't QQ about AWMs, and I know it takes skill to use them well. I just prefer the look and feel of the M700, and I like knowing that the only way I can be sure that they're dead is with a headshot. I have more fun playing the game with a 1.5 or lower K/D but having 15 sniper rifle headshots than I would getting a 3 K/D or so getting all body shots. You can play the game however the hell you want, I could honestly care less.
Oh and BTW, you're not the only one who buys ZP, I'm at 2 crate guns and 60 coupons but I don't feel the need to go on the forums and grab attention to support my huge, rapidly deflating ego. Grow up. -
