New Mutant Powers/Ideas?

lol, alright, not saying they are the best ideas in the world, but thought they would be pretty interesting to add to the tactical standpoint of the mutants. Mostly based off my experiences of what players hate the most, thus making them extremely effective.

Surge Mutant: Black List operatives began their testing upon subjects of former engineers, placing them with in an environment to adapt and change with embedded nano-technology.
-Flash Power: Their body glows a bit white from the energy gathered within the stored cells to let off a bright flash, blinding unprotected Soldiers nearby and leaving them exposed to attack. Because of the energy stored and expelled in such a fashion, damage would still be applied for using the function.
Optional: Ally mutants are immune to this effect due to the similar nano-mutation adaptability.

Scrambler Mutant: The very scientists who helped create the nano-mutation test it on themselves. Cunning, intelligence and dangerous with their improved mutation.
-Distortion Power (1): Removes/Distorts HUD information of Soldiers for a short time when exposed to the nearby area of effect. As well as blocks radio transmissions during such. Causing the exposed Soldiers to lose their vital information they make use of.
AND/OR
-Distortion Power (2): Causes nearby Soldier's weapons to malfunction for a short time, causing their weapons to suffer from accuracy degrade by at least 1 step or more.

Just throwing ideas out there, no big deal if no one likes them, just thought it would be an interesting feature. Give the mutants more diversity. Questions, comments, and lol... the expected flaming is welcome.

Mutants win more than 90% of the time.
    Give them more powers?
    No. Just... No.

lol mutants win because most people don't know how to apply teamwork properly. plus such things would allow more incentive for them to bring weapons like the barret into mutation mode. soldiers can win easily if they choose to. seems the players in CF china are just more capable of teamwork than here.
  • LOL,

I know that Mutation Mode fail because there is no team work.
Only people with a lack of intelligence play it like in a solo mode.
So more than 50% of the Mutation Mode players have a lack of intelligence?

I don't know. But I know that increasing Mutant's power is not the solution.

No, mutants win because they are overpowered and MM depends highly on luck and that the mutant doesn't know how to physics exploit so he can't be bounced back (Happened manny times)

Mutant mode is shoddy, unbalanced, and doesn't need mutants being even MORE powerful.

Exactly. My mutant idea is: Why did you waste time putting Maidens in the game instead of fixing blockers and glitchers first?

To the Chinese teamwork is like being a finger and non-conformity is a sin. You are only powerful when you join the other fingers, make a fist and crush your enemies.

Anything less and you might as well kill yourself. This is why I hate people in MM, they are primarily ******ed and incapable of fighting effectively.

They really are underpowered though. If you ever play 1 on 1 MM it's pretty easy to kill them, especially if you have a heavy machine gun. Having more soldiers only makes it easier but everyone is really-really bad so mutants pick them off and then it's too many mutants to defeat solo.

The Maiden is extra OP though because of those jumps. As a human you need the distance and terrain to help defend sometimes. Definately shouldn't be in the game.
  • i totally agree that mutants aren't soo over powered. teamwork is what ya need, anyways even i can win myself against 15 mutants most of the time.:/

anyway the ideas are good, but why not add GHOST FOG first, its a new mutant in chinese cf and i dont play it. (i just saw it on utube.)

watch and youll see hm. his power is smoke when pressing G and he has a drill.:)

hope more mutants comes in future.:)
  • The solution to make Mutation Mode more balanced is SIMPLE :

Humans should need 2 hits to be mutated, or 1 hit with right click.

More balanced, humans win more often...
    End of story.

Not true, mutants have luck on their side AND physics exploits to stop from being bounced back until the enemy runs out of ammo or has to reload.

And as for luck, the fact the mutant is random ALSO gives the mutant a GIANT advantage.

FYI, EVERY mode is easier for the antagonist side in 1 vs 1 :p

    1 vs 1 SnD = BL
1 vs 1 GM = Depends on who is more skilled, but if the ghost has sound down... BL
MM = GR IF they have a fast reloading gun or lots of ammo.

Actually I can kill a mutant 1v1 in Zone13 without any glitches or exploits needed. Just smarts. Given that, almost anyone can do so if they combine their efforts. There's lots of tricks and spots humans can win at if they work together.

Besides, FYI, the 2 hit thing is already there with the Mutation Armour in the game store.
