Pair me with a soul gun

I'll go ahead and describe my play style, and based on this, please provide me with the gun that you think suits me the best. I'm not looking to take anything at face value but I'm curious to hear your responses (no, really).

I'm primarily a sprayer who likes to play TDM but I also want something suitable for scrimmages. I spray a tonnnnn. It's by far my best quality as a player next to my mobility/strafing. I want something that is a good spray at mid range but can hold its own at long ranged combat. When it comes to long range, I mostly tap or two shot burst. Since I'm a TDM player, I also want something that can dominate close range. So basically, I want a gun that is made for close/mid range but can handle long range with a little practice. Some background info on weapons I've used/tried...

AK47: My frames per second is way too low to handle its recoil at long range but I like its spray pattern.

QBZ-95: I think it has the worst spray pattern in the game and it is inconsistent at long range.

Scar-L: A little too easy at mid and long range, plus its spray is below average. I like its mobility, however.

M4A1: Inconsistent spray scares me but otherwise I like this gun a lot. Its recoil recovery is a tad cumbersome but this can be overcome easily and doesn't matter at close range.

G36K: I have fun with it when I pick it up but I have little experience with it. It's a rare gun but it sounds like it could fit my play style given its fire rate and accuracy. I need someone a bit more experienced to help me on this one. Otherwise, power seems like it could lack at long range.

K2: Its spray pattern is basically unmatched but its rate of fire suffers.

Let the games begin. You can recommend guns outside of the list but ridiculous recommendations like UZI or M60 will be ignored.

  • Dominate close range? The XM8 might be good for you. Or you could try a SMG
  • XM8 is a worthy mention. I'm not looking for an SMG as they will not do me any good in a clan match.

SMG will not do any good in a scrim?

    Well.

You'll see. I have made many a valuable saves with an SMG in scrims before. However, this is concerning you, and only you have the final say.
  • Kriss Super V owns in all maps, modes, and anything else :P I love the gun, excellent in close, mid range, and for long range, just do 2 shots and stop for a second. No gun is better for a sprayer :)

Did you even read what he said? NO SMGs!

Not to mention, you have to be one lucky player to ever score one.

    I have one.

    *raises eyebrows*
  • Did you even read what he said? NO SMGs!

Ok, all i saw was he said no smg cause he didnt think it would stand up to a clan war, but i use it in clan war all the time and i own with it so i think he should try to get the kriss :)

So you're one of those people who annoy me all the time.

    lol how do i annoy u :P

You're one of those people who take forever to write a remark (OMG I POWNED YOU N00B!!!) and use a Kriss. With luck. Plus Body Armor.
  • LOL i have a life outside this game, im sorry :P but u urself have a kriss u said, and i only have body armor for 5 days left
  • ok i got a lot of guns and u sound like u have about the same style as me so heres my opinions on it
XM8-good all around gun with a little practice it owns
m4 custom-I LOVE this gun and **** people with it, its my primary weapon its great at mid range and up close(just not point blank) and at range its fairly simple w/ the scope. kinda hard to spray tho
AUG(i use camo)-great at mid and close range, long distance its fairly easy to, definately a great sprayer gun
k2- u already know about but i suggest u practice with it a little more, it was my first gun and i still play with it from time to time cause its just that good
g36- is AMAZING up close and mid its a hs machine, at range its a little rough to get, but when u practice at range u can **** people(definately try it out)

if u wanna try any of those just let me kno in game (cannonfadder)

    Did I say else?

And this is getting really off-topic.
  • you started it :P Ok. Getting back on topic. Dont down the kriss or smgs! kriss will own any gun u have for spraying out there so get it :)
  • ahhahahahahahhaa

i played you you suck ...well stop sprayign and use the ak or m4 ....and you'll be better.
  • Final word from me.

    Get the XM8.

Seconded. Try it out on Alaska before you buy it though. Also possibly worth mentioning is the AK-74, find it on Crossroads, but the XM8 is probably more up your ally. Something else to look at is the RPK, lotsa ammo, decent at any range and really not bad stats. If you want to try it you'll have to borrow it from someone though. I have it and you can try it out if you want, IGN is omgfail.

EDIT: and xHxUxNxTx3xRx or whatever your name is, lets try giving positive advice ok?
  • The only reason to spray would be if you had 1) A SMG, 2) Scar Light 3) You're one of them ALL UP IN YO FACE RUSHERS.

If you're going to play serious SnD, I suggest you stop spraying, and start bursting.
    In that case,

Go with the M4A1, XM8, or Tar.

    imo.

Lol, what's my IGN then? Here's a tip... it's nothing like my forum name. Nice try.

Lots of XM8 recommendations. I'll spend excessive time in Alaska and try it out. I used to own it long ago on an old account and if I recall correctly, it suffered from recoil issues. Nonetheless, I'll give it a shot (no pun intended).

I disagree heavily. Spraying is an important part of the game.

Couldn't agree more, I'll add to this.

M4A1(or variants): This would be my choice for you if you find yourself in CQC often. The good spray pattern will save you often.

XM8(-Adv): 100% on box shots will get you many kills in your usage(and hackusations) . In my opinion its a headshot machine. Perfect for a bursting headshooter.

Tar21: This thing rocks. More accurate then the M4A1-Custom in scope, and out of scope the high ROF will save you in CQC.

XM8 might be one choice for you, not too good at spraying too much tho. It was my main gun before M4-C, and it's pretty special. I would still use it for WOGL.

G36K is basically a Rifle with SMG ROF and RailGun abilities. Long range power does NOT lack, but with the crazy ROF and not as weak recoil you won't pick up too much longrange shots unless direct HS. Was my second gun, and I know every thing about it. You can try using the scope, but when you do, only walk or crouch walk. Don't you try to run with scope in cause it won't be possible to aim.

RPK is surprisingly good. I wouldn't make a main weapon of this one (just because it doesn't suits me at ALL) but you could. It's relatively light compared to the M60, it's recoil isn't that crazy either. Besides, this gun loves automatic headshots. The ammo amount and the power will make reloads almost unnessesary.

M12s that's a noobgun, althougt, it might suit you. Basically being a GP Kriss, it sprays with no recoil and too much range damage for an SMG. Just hold the left button, look the ennemy, and get your kill. As simple as that.

MP5 has a long story as one of the best SMG. It's effective, and it's not used by every noob who want's to feel a little less worthless. Quick reload, as light as a deagle, good prescision, 30/120 ammo.

P90 a really akward gun, you don't want to run around with it without knowing what you are doing. It's advantage is the 50/100 clip and crazy ROF. It's disatvantage is lower power and lower recoil handle. Won't recommend you this until you get good with SMG.

    GP Crates:

Tommy Gun that's a really good gun to be noob. Perfectly suiting people who just refuse to aim, and prefer just holding the button and looking in general direction of the ennemy. I wouldn't recommend this, but if you feel like being a noob, this is an ABSOLUTE must have.

XM8-Adv that's not big deal, all the people knowing XM8 well will tell you the regular one is better. 3shot burst on the scope kills this gun.

    ZP Crates:

RPK-Camo: Same thing as RPK with more body damage and more ammo. This thing is running riot.

AK-47-Scope: This thing is absolutely all around. You can rush and spray it as an ordinary AK, you can camp and snipe with it, you can just run around bursting.... Anything.

Kriss Super V: I could have this gun but didn't wanted to be a reta'rd. Once more, aim worthless gun. Just hold the left button, look at the ennemy and here's your kill. No aiming involved. I wouldn't get this one (and allready did not. Prefer perm AWM-C and perm AXE) but if you feel like being a total reta'rd who can't aim, this gun is made for you.
  • thats sooo not true the xm8 adv is better the 5+ ammo helps in mutation mode its got a better spray pattern. The scope is amazing at the right range the recoil of the scope always ends up as a headshot if you aim low and if you dont like the recoil of the scope that much than just crouch when you press shoot all bullets go straight on the dot = 1kill ;). People say the xm8 adv isnt that good because they use it like the normal xm8, but this is why they think its not good cause it has a different spray pattern. Learn to use it differently it will grow on you. Its my soul gun.
  • I WANT THE AK SCOPE SO BAD!!! IVE SPENT SO MUCH ON IT BUT I GOTZ BILLS TO PAY!
Someone wanananana buy zp fo mes?!? :D

AK-scope is a legless beast fursure, best all around rifle in my opinion
  • I think you might want the m12s/kriss/thompson.

Why does it matter if a gun is aim worthless? You probably cannot aim anyways.

I do aim... I use an AWM... But yeah, Kriss/Tommy/M12s/SL users usually suck badly at E.M. or without a noobgun... Not really good idea to be a sucker in a scrim, is it?
