What is a good FPS? I usally have one between 8.4-19.5. Is Higher better or is Lower?

I get 120 fps with GameBooster on. 75 without. But you need a better computer...

wtf. i wouldn't be playing fps games with anything lower than 60 fps. i get around 100-120 fps in a 8vs8 and about 600 in a 1vs1

My fps is constant no matter how many people are in the room. I guess its just stable graphics.

26 billion is pretty decent, if not, anywhere between 60-500 is good. Though over 60 is pointless, since your eyes can't register frames any higher rate than that...

I could screenshot 2.4fps and say I rule England with it...

he is decent actually. i never got that fps but when i tried to fraps at a low fps... in-game the fps counter showed 20 and i couldn't stand playing like that. maybe it's just the fraps idk.

I barely pull 40 fps in 8v8's.

70-100 fps in 5v5's.

I do it all the time its not hard, in on e 1v1 i get like around 60 fps, so i preform really well

I get at most 40 on 4v4's, and around 17-24 on 8v8's

edit: I'm still able to pull 1,2,3 place on my team.

I get around 30-40 in 8v8 but i hate playing the game when i get 10+, lags like crazy. And in smoke i get around 8 lol

I see this in about every gaming forum. Human eyesight is not measured in FPS. Plus, even though movies are usually shown in about 30 FPS, it is because they motion blur it, which is if you freeze-framed a movie, nothing moving would be clear, as everything moving is motion blurred. On the other hand, in a FPS game, if you freeze-framed it somewhere ingame, you would see that everything is clear as ice, [Assuming you have a good video card] I'm not an expert on the subject, I admit, but I read in some article that not being able to see above 60 FPS is a popular misconception.

Anyway, for this post to be counted as on-topic, My computer power supply is broken, so I'm playing on one of the crappiest computers you will ever see:

If I am playing on my computer it would be like 13 fps, but when playing on my laptop it is 60-113 fps.. IMO High fps can get you 10 more kills then low fps

I second that. My old comp has 24 FPS and it drove me mad. How do u play with that low? O.O'
